Go to your local Walgreens or CVS and ask the pharmacist. They should be able to tell you.
Eating yogurt can definitely help
Is there anything you can or can't take for a yeast infection while you're pregnant? I have an appointment for monday but I'd like to make it through the weekend without clawing out my vag.

Hello! Sorry I didn't se this sooner. The best thing is to make sure you eliminate ALL sugar from your diet and start taking probiotics. This site has a lot of home remedies that should be safe while your prego. ;-) Hope that helps! http://www.ayurvediccure.com/homeremedies_yeast.htm
I have heard that yogurt and cranberry juice do wonders.
Hi H. - Just give your ob/gyn a call. No need to wait to talk to someone until monday. They can tell you OTC that is safe to take.
hope you feel better
OK, I just had my son a few months ago, so I still have the cream. I had a few yeast infections with my first one, but only one with the second one.
here it is: it was a perscription called "7 day vaginal cream" miconazole nitrate vaginal cream 2%; on the tube it says 7 day treatment. I stopped using after day 3, when the itching and burning was relieved. And it was just fine. It was for the ONLY infection I had with my second one, which was fault of my own.
Ice pack-or any cold sensation also helped with th relief.Monistat is safe as OTC. I remember asking my doc.
Yougurt is great, but more accurately the pro-biotic bacteria that's inside it works as a prevention, no kidding. That's exactly what helped me through the second pregnancy. Have a happy and quick recovery!!!
I'm sorry I don't know he answer to your question, but I had to tell you that you gaveme a huge chuckle...Hope you get some relief before it is too late...
I concur with Brittany. Cut out the sugars. That is what feeds yeast. There are homeopathic yeast suppositories that you can get @ Whole Foods, or other hfs. They have no side effects and are safe while you are pregnant and nursing.
Probiotics are essential to take if you are prone to yeast.
Hope this clarifies things for you

I get them like crazy when I am pregnant. I spoke with the pharmacist and he was able to tell me which were okay to use during pregnancy.
Just use Monistat. They'll most likely tell you to use that anyway.
They told me I could take the over the counter Monistat, but it HAD to be the 3 day. Not the 1 day. Good luck!! Does your OB have a nurse line? I think most do, you could double check.
You poor thing! You could try acidophilus, yogurt, and maybe soaking in Aveeno bath. Good luck! Ages ago I had a staph infection, and it was so awful, I would go to bed at night with a bag of ice between my legs! So, that's another suggestion for you! When all else fails, freeze it!
