Guess you can't wear them if they make you break out. Maybe after the delivery?
I successfully breastfed my daughter for a year and am 8 months along with Baby #2. I used Target and Motherhood bras the first time around and while they worked, they were never "comfortable" and I was thrilled to discover Bravado before Christmas. I ended up with 4 of their Body Silk bras, and 2 of their tanks, and have worn them exclusively since December.
3 weeks ago, I developed a red spot directly under the plastic "nursing" clasp above the cup on one side. I thought it was just a little dry skin, so I put on some cream and it cleared up...until the other side started to get itchy. By then, I dug out my old bras and had two full-fledged red, itchy spots, in the shape of the clasp! I stopped wearing them for 2 weeks to let it heal, mentioned it to my Ob (she said women can develop Latex allergies during pregnancy) and tried to wear them again this weekend, with a band aid wrapped around the clasp. Back to square one with itchy spots and frustrated as these bras were NOT cheap and the rest of the bra is SO darn comfy!
Help! I have emailed customer service to see if they have a recommendation, but I really want to be able to wear these bras - HELP!?
The company called me back and are researching the type of plastic they used for me - hopefully my doc can make a recommendation. In the meantime, I think I'll let the spots heal, then try again with the paper tape (my Dad has had success with that as he developed a reaction to band aids at the age of 75). The customer service rep also mentioned aloe (treating it like a burn) instead of hydrocortisone, so I think we are on the right track.
I'm still open to suggestions though!!!

I don't know if it would help, but I think I would try painting over the clasp with clear nailpolish to see if you can encapsulate whatever it is you are reacting to.
You could try nail polish if that doesn't bother you. I know they recommend that for jewelry. Good luck.
I was allergic to the metal in my glasses and painted them with a thick coat of nail polish.
If you are crafty at all, you could also just remove the clasp and replace it with one that does not irritate your skin.
You could try wrapping it with medical tape for sensitive skin. This type of tape is cloth-like and usually white in color. Maybe your doctor's clinic could give you some? Otherwise I think you can find some at the drug store, like at Walgreens.
Wrapped band-aids can be itchy for a sensitive area.
