A Nail Place, at Hedgcoxe and Custer. I have been going there since they opened 9 years ago. Staff is friendly, and reasonably priced.
Okay, Mamas I need your help: I moved to Plano a year ago, and since then I have been searching for a safe, clean, and reasonably priced place to get a manicure and pedicure. I have read some online reviews of Nice Nails in Plano off of Spring Creek and Custer, but I'm hoping that you can recommend some great, clean places that you like to go to. I'm open to locations outside of Plano also – the more recommendations the better!
Thanks!

I have a great place. Been going there for years. It is in Richardson at the corner of Belt Line and Coit. It is in the shopping center by McDonalds and Starbucks. The name is Nail Times and their number is ###-###-####. Good Luck!
I also go to Brooke in McKinney at Salon Cosa Bella. She's FANTASTIC at her job and a really wonderful friend! They also have a hair stylist, massage therapist and an esthetician on site, so a truly full-service salon. Her number is ###-###-####.
Good luck!

Wonderful place. Clean, well organized and a "money's worth" experience. You begin in the spa chair with a 30 min session and end up in a recliner with a 30 min calf massage. It's worth the drive and it's quite reasonable. A "deluxe" is $25.
Enjoy,
R.
Beverly Hills Nails off of Preston and Charles Place in Plano. They give you your own pedicure set and are very, very hygenic as well as reasonably priced. I don't go anywhere else!
I have the perfect place! It's called Classy Nails and it's in the Kroger shopping center at the corner of Shiloh & Campbell/Shiloh & 190 (George Bush)... it's where Shiloh, Campbell and George Bush all kinda make a triangle.
This place has THE best pedicure... and for only $20! They do the spa pedicure in the big massaging chairs, and then move you over to another massage chair for a hot-rock massage on your feet and legs with lotion. For an extra $5 you can get an exfoliating mask and scrub on your legs too. The manicures are $12 and they do the whole arm massage and everything.
Anyway, I love it. I've always been happy with it, and for the service and everything you get, it is SO inexpenisive!
Good luck! :-)
Tina at Tip Top Nails is good...they are located on Park right across the street from the Super Target shopping center. Also, Zen Nail Bar in Frisco at Legacy/121 is nice, high end and they only use Chanel nail lacquer.
I second the recommendation to Glamour Nails at Coit & Campbell. I've been going there for years and have never had a bad experience. They are very clean and have a great selection of nail polish colors. Ask for Kim, she is my favorite nail tech.
Go to Hollywood Nails in Frisco. The number is ###-###-####. I recommend Alan for nails and Mike for pedicure. They are safe and clean and both of those guys are hella good. I get my nails filled...you're looking for a manicure...I don't know how much it is for that. I can guarantee one thing though, it's worth what you pay for it! Good luck

You should try Beverly Hills Nails on Preston north of Parker. They are very clean and reasonable.
Zen Nail salon in Frisco---121 & Legacy
I second the Zen Nail Bar in Frisco.
Zen spa in Frisco. It is located on Legacy close to hwy 121. It is very peaceful and it doesn't have that nasty smell that most salons have. I go there to get pedis and they don't use the spa foot baths. It cost a little more, but the polish lasts longer than normal.
HiJonna, My name is Bea and I've been going to Angel Nails for the past 6yrs. Tony & Tina (Owners) are wonderful people I tried most of the nail salons in Plano and they are the best so please give them a ____@____.com treat their customers with respect and courtesy. They go above and beyond for their customers. Their pedicure chairs are non like any other. Located on Parker/Independence so give them a call and tell them Bea sent you there.
There is a place at Spring Creek and Coit called X nails that i go to. The owner and his wife are in the middle of some family crisis and others are running it. Haven't been since they were in charge, but the owner is fantastic and VERY clean and conscientious.
Salon 205 in McKinney--972/529-2005. I highly recommend Angela.
Beverly Hills Nails at Preston and Parker. It's really nice and the people are really friendly. I've never had a bad experience and I've been going there for about 2 years.
Word of advice - stay FAR away from those nail salons where the nail techs wear masks!! They oftentimes use products that are not safe (erego the masks) and these "salons" are the places that seem clean, but where you hear about ladies getting the fungus, etc. on their nails and those awful infections!!!
I've gone to a girl for over 10 years now - she's located in downtown McKinney and is just FABULOUS!!! Her name is Brooke and you can reach her at ###-###-####. She used to be a trainer for a major company and does excellent work - you won't leave there with your nails looking fake (you've seen those ladies with thick acrylic nails).
I have been going to Nail Tech for 14 years. It is located on 15th and Independence across the street from the PISD Administration building. The ladies there (Thao, Kim, and Sandra) are like family, and they are very reasonably priced. Tell them K. sent you. :)
I like the salon at 121 and Custer in the Super Target Shopping center. Not sure of the name, but it is very nice and clean. It is on the west side, facing Custer, between On the Border and Quick Trip.
I go to a great place at the cornor of Campbell and Coit. It is very clean. Glamour Nails and Spa; 1930 N. Coit Road, Suite 111, Richardson, TX 75080; ###-###-####, hours M-F 10-7pm, Sat 9-7pm, Sun 12-5pm If you go ask for Anna she does a very good job.
Salon at Eaton Court in Allen. It's on McDermott just east of 75. Completely clean and sanitary and you have a private room!
Michele at Nail World at Park & Preston (in Kroger shopping center - near Boston Market) does a great job. Spa manicure & pedicure combo is only $30 and the place doesn't reek of chemicals.
