Mamapedia While Working

My coworkers walk around the office yacking I go online.

Don't even get me started on the smokers.

They know we do it so long as work product doesn't suffer they could care less.

Guilty as charged. The ONLY time I am here is when I am work.

My home time is too valuable to waste online. My time at home is actually spent with my kids!

lol But it's ok, I'm a multitasker at work. I can do my job and check mamapedia at the same time.

Like right now? lol Thought I would peak in while my script is executing. No harm in that right?

LOL! I am so GLAD I work from home and am my own boss so I don't have Big Bro watching me anymore! I worked for someone else for 15 years and will NEVER go back! Good luck and happy Mamapedia'ing! =)

We own our own company and work from home so I am the big boss.

I get on MP to take a mental break now and then (too much now, LOL) to clear my head when I am running reports, payroll, inventory, processing expense checks, etc on Quickbooks, buying plane tickets, making hotel/car reservations, and filing etc.

If I had an employee, I would not have a problem with them using MP, FB or something like that selectively as long as it did not interfere with the quality of work they were doing for me. Sometimes you do need a mental break, everyone does.

I would only be against it and have stiff rules if the social media took too much priority and you were not doing a good, quality, productive job to earn your pay.

I'm with Jo W - my co-workers get together and stream netflix movies over the computer and all 3 sit in an office and watch tv. I'm not into that. If I have a few minutes, I'm on MP! Sometimes it's hard to get off and work, so I try not to log on until I've been here a couple of hours. And sometimes I bargain with myself - if I do x, y and z, I'll read 3 MP posts! LOL! But don't doubt that the last 45 min of my work day is devoted to MP!

Only on MP at work :P, I work in a very low key office. My boss (who sits about 5 feet away) looks up houses she wants to buy and recipes she is going to cook while listening to Aerosmith on YouTube.

And we are the only two people who work in the office.

nope. i work too hard to have time for that, and i'd quickly be out of a job which i'm not willing to risk since that is supporting my family. i am only on here today because i'm home with a sick kiddo.

I'm on here all day long or at least until my new jobs starts next week. I am going to have withdraws I think.

I don't sneak online I get online. It's not any different that the You Tube that get's watched in the other office. :)

I am self-employed with my inhome daycare.

I hit Mamapedia on days such as today when the kids are playing hide & seek....& they're shooing me away from their play. LOL! Earlier today I was actually "shushed" away from their play. LOVE that they have a high comfort level in my home!

Normally, I hit the site before/after the kids & during naptime. It's a fun time-filler for me, especially at naptime when I have to be silent - but still in the room!

Where do you think I am now? ;)
