I was thinking of getting some washable pantyliners (like Luna pads, but made by a WAHM). Has anyone ever tried them? They are supposed to be great for people with sensitive skin.

Thanks

So What Happened?

Thanks for all the answers! I use cloth diapers and my son never has a rash, but I suffer when I use any kind of disposable pantyliner. So I did go ahead and order some from Etsy!!! I was looking at all there was to offer and between the fabrics and colors, I could see this leading to an addiction :) !!!!

I love my luna pads, I bought the underwear with the liners, and I also bought just liners you can snap into regular underwear. I recently have been in need of more since I am pregnant, so I decided to try my hand at making them, I am in the process of finishing that project, it wasn't that hard to do with using the other pads I have as a pattern.

I love my mama cloth and have them in all the sizes so I never have to wear a disposable pad. They are so much more comfortable and a huge cost savings! There are a LOT of WAHM's making cloth pads with a lot of options to choose from. I would suggest checking out etsy.com and hyenacart.com for pricing and options. I promise once you get started, you'll never go back!

I want to just share with you that I have VERY sensitive skin and one thing that caused major problems for me is feminine pads - I saw a specialist for a long time because I suffer with a chronic female issue - and she said Always brand is the most allergenic!! So if you can go the natural route - do it!!

I just started using the Diva Cup a few months ago for similar issues, and it is fantastic - I'll try these pads, too - I did not know they existed!

I too have a really sensitive skin, even more so after having a child. I've never used Luna pads but I do use GEM Cloth pads.
You can check out her stuff here: http://hyenacart.com/onestore.php?vid=3292&category=18

Michelle is really awesome to work with. If you don't see what you want she'll custom make it for you, just email her and ask. :)
I use her Diamond pads and LOVE them. They are SO comfortable and very absorbent. No more icky issues I had with disposables and they are really easy to wash too!
