Get rid of "white" foods in your diet -the heavy carbs and processed sugars. They tend to really collect in your belly and are awful for you anyway. Limit your carb intake to whole grains. White rice, pastas, breads and certainly sweets need to go. You'll be shocked at how fast your belly goes down (and how much better you feel -SO much more energy)! A jogging/walking program combined with abdominal Pilates exercises or kettle bell classes will also really grab your abdominal core muscles and accelerate weight loss and toning. Ultimately though, many women have a slight "pooch" or loose skin that can only be taken care of through plastic surgery after they've been pregnant.

Some targeted toning will help but the pouch won't go away unless you have a tummy tuck....! Simply your ab muscles were stretched and cut. I've had three C's and need one badly. Concentrating on my weight loss right now and told hubby that someday I'm a gonna have one....then I'll feel better.....My pants don't fit right LOL!

Im right there with you. Although I didnt have c-sections my last 2 babies really stretched me out. My friend is a dietician, and she tells me not to diet, because 1) you can't diet forever 2) you will fail and probably gain more back.
It's all about better choices and moderation. Eat a healthy breakfast, eggs w/ veggies, a high fiber cereal and fruit etc
Only whole wheat carbs, and only in moderation
Drink a glass of water before a meal, or eat a healthy salad before meal
And some type of cardio 3x a week
Thats the path Im on, and Ive lost about 2 lbs
Its not easy!

Is it fat, or skin?
I have loose skin on my belly that's never going to go away. It's just stretched out too far. But the underlying muscle is well toned.

If it's fat, diet is a HUGE part of what you look like. Sugar is your main culprit for belly fat, and it crops up more places than you'd think (milk, for example, is loaded with sugar).

The other part of it is muscle tone. Many times women don't like the look of their bellies, and it's really just the shape of the muscle. Stand up straight. If you don't, the muscle bows out. Pull your belly button in towards your spine, also helps the tone and flatness over time. And planks are you best friend for getting that flat look.

I won't preach out diet and exercise, but I'm sure you know that that's really the only way to get surefire results. But above are just a couple of quick no brainers that you can do everyday.

Increased water, and fruits and veggies, lean protein, and exercise that targets the area. I would add some yoga and pilates, or if you don't enjoy them, see if your gym has some Core classes. I delivered both kids vaginally, but when I slack, this is the first area that gains. Boo...
