I go to a place in Plano called IHP and I'm doing the optifast program and they call in the prescription to my pharmacy as a part of the overall program. you should look into optifast....the weight just peels off of you.
I used to take Phentermine a few years ago and it worked great. I lost 50 lbs. Now, post baby, I would like to take it agin to jump start my weight loss. I can not find a website that sells it. I have found many that sell it, but they want to call your "prescribing" physician to verify. I obviously don't have a prescribing doctor. Does anyone buy Phentermine on their own via the web? Any suggested links would be great. Also if anyone has any ideas on a different diet pill that would help. Thanks.

Hi my name is C.
I have a vitamin that would be great for you, it is called Carb blocker & it does just that, it blocks simple sugers & complex carbohydrates, & it really works, & pared with CLA 500 it works even better. You can go to www.nutrilite.com & research them, & to order you can go to www.eei.mychoices.biz. other than that I do not know of any other pills. hope that helps. Good luck!
H., Phentermine is now only availabe with a prescription.. However a friend found a online Dr and he wrote her a prescription but that cost her 75 bucks, but I just found this site DiscreetUSPharma.com and it loks as though you don't need a prescription.. And by the way what color where you taking ( blue or yellow)?

Hi H.,
A friend forwarded your message to me. I am not familiar with the product you mentioned. But Cinch from Shaklee may interest you. With this program, you lose only fat and no muscle--leaving your metabolism intact. You can read about it on my websites at www.shaklee.net/healthforlife or www.Cinchplan.com/healthforlife
I am a personal trainer and wellness educator and will help you anyway I can.
Good luck!

My sister used to buy them online from Canada, but can't anymore. I am not sure that you can just do that anymore. However, last year, my family physician prescribed them for me to help me start off. You might want to just check to see if your doctor can prescribe something too. The good thing about that is you need to see your doctor every month to have your blood pressure checked while on the pills. If you do not have a doctor that is willing, than I can give you the name and number of my doctor in Plano. Good luck!
dr tambra garrett in flower mound prescribes it if necessary. i too had taken it about 12 years ago and lost about 50 lbs, had no problems and loved it. now after a baby (ok so she's 3!) i wanted to try it again and hated it. i never had any side effects before and when i tried it last summer i hated it. was cranky, couldn't sleep, jittery etc so i stopped taking it. good luck though.
I dont know where you live, but I know of a doctor in Arlington that will prescibe these to you. You will be required to take a EKG and blood test to make sure your healthy enough to take them.
His name is Dr. Phon, his number is ###-###-####. He is off of Little Road and I-20.
Good luck!!
Be careful when ordering it online. I ordered some in the past and it did not work at all, not to mention it cost over $300.
Personally, I would not order it online anymore. I ordered it online several years ago and got the real thing, but everyone I know who has tried to order it in the last year has been sent something fake that looks and is spelled very close to the real thing--and they charged out the wazoo.
Also, Dr. Branch was recently shut down for doing this, so he is unable to prescribe it right now.
I'm also trying to find a doctor who will prescribe it--I lost about 30 lbs on it in 2003 and weaned myself of it and continued the healthy style and weight loss, only to get pregnant and gain it all back a couple years later.

I used it, too and had great results. However, it's illegal to sell it through a website as it requires a prescription. The only way to get it is through your Dr. IF you find a way to get it without a Dr. will you please let me know? My Dr. put me on it for 4 months - but won't give me anymore pills. I still have about 10 more pounds that I would like to lose!
It's not legal to buy prescription drugs without a prescription. Doing business with Internet pharmacies that do not require a prescription is a risky business---you have no regulation of what is actually in the pills you will be taking. I would urge you to reconsider---you are gambling with your health.
I heard on the news last week that Phentermine may be making a comeback. I have bought it from online companies in the past, but that was before they started asking for a prescribing doctor. Try a Canada online drugstore. Just google the name of the drug and check out all of the websites. You may come across one.
I am not sure but I wanted to see the responses you got, sounds like something I might like to try too.
I am so amazed none of the responders have heard about the lawsuits filed for having taken Phentermine. It IS harmful to you! I actually took it several times........went into Mexico 3x & bought it there for VERY cheap. Since hearing about the damage is causes, I wouldn't consider it. My brother-in-law is an attorney in Dallas & asked my sister to be a client since she had taken Phentermine more recently than I. Results are still pending. OH YES, it did work. My best friend lost over 100 lbs. & I lost 50 but went into a 100 hour coma! Doctor put me on 17 pills a day & made me eat 4 meals a day to get stable again. Stay away from it!
what city do you live in?? there is a weight doctor in Waxahachie that prescribes it. If you find a website, let me know too.
If this is the same thing that was known as Phen Fen (sp?) about 10 or so years ago (or some derivitive), I highly advise against taking it. My mother, my father, and a former boss (female) all took it in the mid-90s and each had terrible health consequences. The worst being my mother who at 50 years old suffered a stroke, which then prompted Lupus (which doctors believe had been dormant) to surface. She is now on Coumadin (blood thinner) and each time she has dental work, etc., she has to go through a whole process to come off it and then get back on it. My dad and former boss had heart issues resulting from the medication. While the medication worked miracles for all of them at the time, since having their health issues and stopping the weight loss medication, they've gained all the weight back and then some, AND now have life-long debilitating medical conditions.
I used to take phentermine as well and then had my son, who is 14 months old. They are so great for weight loss. I have found a couple of sites that see it without prescription but they are so expensive... :(
However, I just got "Phentermine D" and have been loving it. It acts just like the real thing for me. Just Google it and you will find lots of websites. If you have any questions, please feel free to respond!
You might try westcoastdrugs.com ...... Good luck !!!
I would love to know what you find out. I'm trying to get the baby weight off...Please let me know. Thanks.
You Know They Have a Phentermine Savings Card at www.phencard.com
You Can Use It At Most Pharmacies! I Paid $10.97 For 30 37.5mg Tablets At CVS Pharmacy. Good Luck
Google it. I didn't find anything out there but through Google I saw where you could purchase it.
I did Alli with a low fat diet and lost all the baby weight plus some! I don't know what phentermine is, but it doesn't sound like something I would want to deal with if it's hard to get and doctors have to prescribe it. Alli is basically a half dosage of Orlistat (weight loss pills doctors DO have to prescribe). I bought my pills at Sams in bulk and saved a LOT of money doing it that way. Good luck!
I would not order it online anymore! I had the same experience with the look alike Phentermine and it cost a lot of money and it did nothing. Good Luck!
My co-worker tried to order some, and they shipped it to her. But authorities siezed it at the border and sent her a letter saying that if she tried to have it shipped again, she could be in serious trouble since she doesn't have a prescription. I would go see a weight specialist and tell them you have been on it before and want to try it out again.
Go see the drs at Physician's Weight Control and Wellness Cener in Arlington. Their website is: www.drweightcontrol.com. I've seen Dr. Patrick Kirlin, my friend has seen Dr. Otto Puempel and I would recommend both (although I don't think you really get a choice, just the first appt available, usually 1 month out). They will take blood and an ekg to make sure you are healthy enough to be on the medication. The charge for the first visit is $150 and includes the bloodwork, ekg and some suppliments to take in addition to the Phentermine (which you will be given a RX to take to a pharmacy like Walgreens or Walmart). Follow up visits are less (about $75/month). It worked great but am taking a break to try to get preggers. I still have a full bottle waiting for me for after the birth and breastfeeding!
