Hi T.,
I took my son to Action Day on Lincoln Ave. He started there when he was about 6 months old. He now is at a babysitters house (Friend of mine's mother in law) But I had tried KinderCare off Foxworthy. I have to say "Action Day is so much better. I thought Kindercare would be good, but they have toddlers and infants in the same room. I had my son in that place for 4 days prior to me returning to work and I never returned, My son was 4 1/2 months old and he was in his crib with spit up all over him. They had too many children in the room with not enought adults watching them. I choose to place my son in Action Day while our babysitter was out of the country for 2 months. I liked Action day due to they have different rooms for different age groups. Very very nice... The people there are nice as well.
I will have to put my son in Action Day again next year when our babysitters goes to Spain. Action day has different type of plans, part time, full time.
I understand the concern of leaving your precious little one with strangers, so you might want to do what I did, Prior to returning back to work you might want to start with a place part time and see how you like it. I stopped by kindercare at different times during those 4 days to see the diffent type of things happening during the day even sat there with my son for a while to see how they interacted with the other kids in the room. That showed me I would not return back to that place. I need to know my son is being well taken care of in order to go back to work.
I am lucky I have a friends mother in law watching him. But if I had to put him back in day care it would be Action Day. They have a few of them around, but I took my son to the Lincoln Ave in Willow Glen.
Good luck, And remember to check them out prior to just choosing one, You have to be comfortable with the people caring for you little one, so if you are not feeling it, keep looking...
