Looking for Recommendation for Pediatrician in South Austin Area

I have a week old newborn and am looking for a recommendation for a pediatrician down South. The pediatrician that we have seen so far for our first appointment is too far north. I have looked at a few pediatricians with ARC Brodie Lane and ARC South Austin. If anyone has any recommendations, they would be much appreciated.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I just want to thank everyone for their response to my pediatrician inquiry. I am new to this website (it was recommended to me by a nurse at the hospital) and I am so impressed by this website that I have told all of my friends and family about it.

My kids see Dr. Broberg at ARC South. We've also had the opprotunity to see Dr. Burnet, Dr. Ward and Dr. Sood who also practice in the office. I have always felt very comfortable with any of them. Once, when I couldn't get into the South office, I went to Brodie ARC and saw a PA there and totally loved him.

Dr. Amy Alcorn is our pediatrician at the Brodie ARC and we love her. She takes the time to answer questions and concerns. She is super friendly and my now 2 1/2 year old loves her. She has personally called me several times with lab results and to answer questions when I put a call in to her nurse. I had several people recommend her to me. The only draw back is that she works part time to be a mom to her 2 boys, so it is sometimes hard to get in with her when you have a sick child. Well child apts are not a problem b/c you can make those way in advance.
I've also heard that Dr. Mouser at the same clinic is wonderful.

We use Dr DeWette at the Brodie Lane location. She is great with the kids! Her nurse is Trina. We like her also. Good luck and Congrats on the new baby!

We LOVED Dr. Diane Garza at ADC South on James Casey..and would still be there but we moved out of town.... We also had great RESPECT for the PA Ms. Linda..... they are both VERY sweet, through, and moms themselves. Good Luck...
There are a couple of other Dr's in that office and I did not care for them....but I think all of them have been nominated for the Dr. awards with Texas Monthly.

We have a great doctor in South Austin. Her office is in the Seton Southwest Health Plaza on 1826. If that isn't too far Southwest for you, you should check out the office. They have a "meet the pedi" night once a month so you can meet the doctors and form your own opinion. We have been very happy having Dr. Siv Fasci. She is very personable and even takes the time to call and check on your baby the next day after a visit. The number is ###-###-####.

We use ADC South on James Casey - Dr. Sara Woods. I love her and would highly recommend her - but have been told all the doctors at ADC South are wonderful. Good luck finding someone.
