Try California Kids in Rocklin, they have a great program that is entirely curriculum based so it can fit around your schedule. My children love it. www.californiakidsrocklin.com

My husband and I would like to get our son, who will be 3 in August, into Preschool. We live in Loomis. I'm looking for 2 or 3 days in the afternoons. Morning sessions will not work for our family. My son is a night owl, will not, no matter what I do, go to bed before midnight. And he sleeps quite late in the morning. I'm not interested in the community type school. I also don't want to pay more than 100 or so a month.
My son is not potty trained yet. He is working on it but, I would like for it to not be a requirement that he be potty trained.
If anyone has any suggestions, please help me out.
Thanks so much!!!
**I understand that the going rate is more than 100. I don't think more than 120 or 130 a month is justifiable for 5 to 8 hours a week.

My daughter has attended Penryn Oaks in Penryn since she was 3 1/2 and is now 9 1/2. We love it there.
I don't want to sound too negative, but I think you need to accept that you will have to spend more than $100 a month. I don't know of any preschool that would charge such a small amount for 2 or 3 days a week.
My friend's daughter goes to Smart Start Preschool in Loomis, but I don't know if they have an afternoon session. I also know that they charge the going rate for a preschool, which is more than $100 a month. I believe they have a website, so you can look that up.
Good luck with your search!
Yes, I have to agree with the others it will be rare to find a preschool for even 2 days a week in your area for $100 per month. We live in Lincoln and I looked into some of the schools in Loomis because we don't have many options here in Lincoln.
I looked into Smart Start and Little Orchard in Loomis and they were both around $250 a month I believe for 2 days. A parent co-op is a good option for $100 price range. However, my son attends an in-home preschool here in Lincoln that I found to be the most affordable option around here ( other than co-ops) and even though price wasn't my 1st concern it just happens to be that we love his preschool and they only charge $16 per day for the 3 hour program. Which even that rate is very low for in home programs. You can call the Placer County Office of Education and they can email you a list of in home providers in your area.
You will be hard pressed to find a school for that amount of money. The only school I know that charges around that much is Loomis Community Preschool, but they require parents work in the classroom and attend monthly evening meetings. It is a great school, my son is in the Tot class there now, and we love his teacher, Robannie. Otherwise, I think you are looking at over $200 a month. I haven't found anything for less, but I've found plenty for more. Best of luck to you!
HI, I don't live in your area, but after our search for an affordable preschool, maybe I can offer a suggestion or two...
we live in Rio Linda, & I was looking for a preschool I can take my son to one to three days a week, that is affordable, & he is also not potty-trained yet. I found that Co-op preschools (or parent-teacher preschools, as they may be called) seemed like our best option...we found one in Antelope (Center Co-op Inclusion Preschool), but in my search I found a good one in Roseville, so as one of the posts mentioned, your community preschool may be the best option. For us, we work at the preschool one day a week, and attend extra outings & a monthly parenting class to total 20 hours for the month. The preschool is run thru the local adult school, & we have found it's a great opportunity to meet other parents, make some friends & start transitioning our son to being away from mom & dad. It costs $75 per month. The preschool will allow our son to attend when I'm attending, until he is potty-trained.
Good luck in your search, just be prepared to be flexible & find one you can work at, if you want a lowered cost.
