I really enjoyed The Perfect Pregnancy Workout with Karyne Steben. Although Karyne was formerly with Cirque du Soleil (and amazingly flexible even pregnant), her workout is geared toward any level.
I am 18 weeks pregnant.Could any one of you suggest me a good prenatal exercise video/DVD.

Gaiam has a Prenatal Yoga DVD with Shiva Rhea (not sure if I spelled her name correctly) that is really good. My husband got it for me for Christmas and since then I've had a couple yoga instructors tell me it's the best one out there. There are three people in the video, one who is in her first trimester, one in her second, and one in her third. You watch the person who is in the same trimester as you for any modifications to the moves so you won't risk doing a move that may cause you problems. I highly recommend it.
Target sells a Pilates/Yoga dvd for pregnant moms. Check it out. You can go online and see all the different selections that they have.
Hi there . . .
I really liked Melinda Bryan's "Pilates for Pregnancy." She also has one for after pregnancy that I like. Hope that helps!

Congratulations on your pregnancy. I am 16 weeks with #2 - looks like we both are expecting September babies.
With my first I did a lot of prenatal yoga. I was just looking at my dvd the other day thinking that I needed to get moving and start it up again.
The one I have is called "Prenatal Yoga with Shiva Rae" Its good because it has 3 pregnant women (1 in each trimester), so you can change your routine according to where you are in your pregnancy. Hope this helps.
Good luck!

i have liked parts of the Leisa Hart Fitmama DVD - it's a little bit repetitive but that's so you can concentrate on the exercise and not learning lots of new steps. Parts of an older DVD by Kathi Smith are good too (though some segments are just downright embarrassing).
You want to be sure not do anything different than what you were doing in a non-pregnant state. If you had a yoga practice, I would recommend getting Shiva Rea's pregnancy video. Or Yoga Now is located near you on Broadway. yoganowchicago.com I believe there is a prenatal class you could take or any level 1 class would be good for you. Also when I was pregnant I walked almost everyday. Now that the weather is nice(r) a walk in the fresh air would make you feel so good. Good luck!
