I have an almost 4 year old and am in search of a Pre-school/Daycare. I have called Canterbury Prep., All Around Child, and Small Beginnings. Does anyone have any suggestions or know anything about any of these schools? All input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
C.

After a looong interrogation, lol, by myself and my husband I think we will have a great experience there. Please continue your e-mails if you have any further info. and thanks again!!!

Try Rolling Hills at 95th and Nall. Both of my girls went there from the time they were 18 months, and I loved it. The teachers were so caring , and the program is educational without being too competitive.

Hi C.,
I too have called/visited all of the schools you mentioned. I responded to one question on All Around Child yesterday that Beth P. had asked. I don't know much about Small Beginnings, but Canterbury Prep. I do. I enrolled my daughter at Canterbury a couple of years ago. I had or she had, a horrible experience there. She was not totally verbal at the time as she was only 2 1/2 years old. But when I picked her up after school (she had been there only a couple of weeks) she kept hitting her arm saying "HIT" "HIT". I of course got very worried and contacted the school. I went in later that afternoon to view the video tape of her class room and sure enough....something had happened. She wasn't "Hit", but the teacher had dragged her by her arm from the lunch table to put her in time out for not trying her food. My daughter is a picky eater, but not a disruptive one. She just didn't want to try the food. I took her out of the school immediatly. I enrolled her at Blue Valley Montessori and She has been there for 2 1/2 years and we have never had a problem. It has been wonderful! She has learned so much there. Another mom at Blue Valley Montessori had her daughter at Canterbuy for one week when she arrived to pick her up one day and no one could find her. She had been left out on the playground...Alone! So I hope this information helps you. I would check into Blue Valley Monterssori. It's pricey, but well worth the extra cost. Good Luck!

My son was at Small Beginnings for 3 years. I was very pleased with his teachers and the program.

I don't know anything about the businesses you listed but wanted to suggest you try the Blue Valley Schools Preschool program. I have a 5 year old son who has attended 1/2 days (8:35 - 11:30) for a little over a school year and he has learned so much and loves school. It has been a very positive experience.
