Hi J.!
Try out the Parents as techers playgroup at the Church of the Good Shepherd on Foulk Road 9:30am to 11:00am on Wednesdays (althought there is no group on Wednesday April 26th.) Their website is http://www.christina.k12.de.us/ParentsAsTeachers/.
There is story time at the Brandywine hundred Library Mondays and Thursdays at 10:15am for 2 year olds. The children play with blocks, puzzles and books after. And when it gets warmer many people walk over to the park after.
The Jewish Community Center (JCC) has a playgroup on Fridays at 10:30 in their early education center. No need to be Jewish but many who attend are Jewish. Their group moved to the baby pool area in the summer last year.
Lots of kids seem to gravitate to the Can-Do playground at Foulk and Weldin. It is a state park so you need a park pass ($27 for the year.) Bellevue has a nice playground too. But the weather is still too cold.
We will probably run into you if you go to any of the above. Good luck!
