hi, i'm new here and just moved to the area. i am looking for a pediatrician for my daughter, she is 14 months. i would like to find a female doc. i am living in newark de at the moment, but we are buying a home in the oxford pa area.

welcome to the area. we live in newark and use dr. barbara light and "dr. ann" (she has a hard last name to pronounce) at pediatric associates in newark ###-###-####). love them both and highly recommend them! best wishes on an easy transition for your family.

we live in lincoln university which is 5 minutes from oxford. we LOVE our pediatricians, Kids First in West Grove, near the Giant shopping center on Old Baltimore Pike. While all the doctors (all female) there are great, our favorite is Dr. Scheid and the nurse practioner Stacey Bachman. hope this helps :)

I take my daughter to Kids First of Hockessin (Delaware). There are two female doctors (Dr. Lauren Healy and Dr. Chang) and a male doctor (Dr. Olivieri). Dr. Healy is my daughter's doctor. I really like and trust her. Making appointments is never a problem -- they've squeezed me in when there was an issue.

We love Lauren Healy at Kids First in Hockessin. She relates to the kids very well and they are super comfortable with her.
