Where do you live in Marietta. Im 28 and have a 2 year old son. I also have a friend that has a 2 year old daughter. Do you work or stay home with your daughter? I live in woodstock and so does my friend we do get together or try to once a week and let the kids play together either at the park or at one of our houses.

I live in Woodstock in a great subdivision called Kingsgate. We have a playgroup and we meet meet once a week and once a month for a mom's night out. We have children of all ages. I have a two year old and 6 year old, both boys. I work from home and always looking for new moms to hang out with. I would love to invite you to our next playgroup. We meet every Wednesday morning and workout Tuesday and Thursday mornings at a local church that has great childcare. Check out Atlantamommas.com. There are hundreds of moms on that site that can point you in the right direction to meet other young moms in your area. Also, check out local parks. With the nice weather coming, the parks will be crawling with people. Just introduce yourself to anyone you think you might like to meet. I have had great success meeting nice people at parks. There are also some local meetup.com groups in your area. Search meetup.com and your city/ zip.

Hi T.. I live in Smyrna which is close to Marietta. I am a 29 yr old stay at home mom to an 19mth old girl. I moved here just over a year ago and haven't met alot of people myself. The friends I have don't have children so it would be great to hang out and socialize with the kids. Email me if you want to talk or hang out with the kids. My daughter loves other small kids. She doesn't pay much attention to older children as I guess they aren't her size.

My suggestion is to look up www.momsclub.org and check into your local moms club. It really helped me out when I moved to GA from OH and didn't know a soul.
