Hello there, I am new to Momasourse. I saw that you are looking for other Mom's who live in the Forest Lake area. I live in East Bethel, which is close to Forest Lake. I am looking for Mom's that I can hang out as well.

Here is a little bit about myself. My name is A., I am married, and we have a son named Brandon. He was born on 6/2/06. The thing that I enjoy doing are: Going for walks, reading, camping, spending time with my pets and of course spending time with my family.

I am a SAHM, but I will be going back to work very part time. I own a business and with that I am able to pick my own hours and work as many hours as I want. :)

I am not a SAHM (even though I would love to be!) but I have a 9 month old son and I would love to get together and let the little ones play while scrapbooking. I just started doing that a few months ago and I never get time for it. I work Monday - Thursday so I am home in the evenings after 6:00 and Friday - Sunday all day. L., welcome to the Forest Lake area. I grew around here and moved away for a while (lived in Shoreview for 3 years) and I moved back here with my family. It's a great area, but a lot of my friends no longer live around here or do not have children. I'm looking for friends that are local and live the family lifestyle. I am a HUGE scrapbooker. I do work full time (and part-time on the weekends) but I always manage to find time to scrapbook and spend quality time with my kids. My son is 10 and my daughter is 2 1/2.

Hi L.. My name is S.. I grew up in FLake. I have a two yr old son Luke. We got involved in an Early Childhood Family Education group on Friday Mornings, during the schoolyear. You come to the classroom, play and create, sing and then leave the kids there and go to a diff room to have "mom" time. There is a teacher and every weelk we discuss a different topic. Then, we go back and play more w/the kids. Four of us moms formed a summer playgroup that meets every friday at a local park during the summer. Call ###-###-#### and select the family center option. I got your posting on Mamasource. I'm interested in getting into a play group too. My daughter, Hannah, is ten months old. We live near Marine on St. Croix. I work three days a week.

What was your previous play group like?

I live in the Forest Lake are, right in town actually, but my kids are older (11 & 5). I know that the school district has many playgroups where you can meet other parents and the kids can play. Some are free and some are relativly inexpensive, they usually base it on your income. Look online at www.forestlake.k12.mn.us and look under community programs. I am sure you would find plenty to do and lots of new people to meet. M.
