Hello,
I've been part of the Mother's Connection for almost six months. I has been great. I met many wonderful mums and children. Please see below their info (that was sent to me when I joined to it).
The Mothers' Connection is a non-profit organization with an annual membership fee to cover the cost of
printed newsletters, event supplies, food at events, etc.
You will meet a number of terrific women, many of
which have different professional, personal and ethnic
backgrounds but find common ground in the experience of
parenting.
This is our founding and guiding principle: to provide women with the opportunity to gather, share information and offer support.
The Mothers' Connection has A LOT to do, in fact there is
something going on almost every day of the week. We have a
variety of playgroups (multi-age and age-specific) on weekdays,
support groups, educational lectures, child-safety and community service projects, book club, recipe/supper club, scrapbooking club, Bunko league, Mothers' Night Outs (MNO) and parties.
This is one of the only mothers' groups that offer support to
both working and non-working moms!

We are looking for a playgroup. My husband is a stay at home dad and he is looking for ways to get our son around children his own age. We have an 18 month old son, Michael.
