I have a 27 month old very active boy and am looking for either group or one on one playdates during the week. I know a lot of moms work and this isn't an option, but I need to get out!! I am a SAHM and need to get my son and I socializing. So if you are a SAHM (or have a caretaker) who would like to get out with your child and meet some new people please let me know. I am willing to drive a little bit so if you're not in south Tampa please don't let that discourage your reply. Thanks so much!

When I moved to town, I joined the local chapter of the MOMS Club in South Tampa (momsclub.org). It is a great group of SAHM and their children. There are playgroups broken down by ages and they meet several times throughout the week.
lots of moms/nannies go to kate jackson park and south tampa gymboree
ditto the MOMS Club, it was an amazing resource for us!

Hi I have a good friend in South tampa with 2 little boys one is 3 and the other is 2. She is a SAHM as well. Both our husbands are in the military. She is pregnant with her 3rd baby which is a girl and is Due early September. I'll talk to her and see if I can give her number to you or you can give me your number and I'll give it to her.

I on the other hand live in the Town and Country area and have a 6 year old and I work at his school. We go back to school August 20th.
Hi!! My name is Bridget. I belong to a Yahoo moms group. No charge to join. This group has children of all ages. We mostly meet during the week at diffrent playgrounds or parks or Chucky Cheese.
Sometimes some members will host playdates at their homes.
What I really love is that one night a month we have a Bunco night(a fun dice game)we eat play some win a little money but mostly we just have a good time without the kids.

I am a member of the Tampa Bay Stay-At-Home Mommy's group on meetup.com. They are a really great group of women/children and we have really ejoyed being a part of it. They have events scheduled for just about every day of the week, sometimes even multiple events.
