Looking for Kids Bedding

I am not finding great options for kids bedding (we just purchased bunk beds for my 2 yr old). My son is not really into characters/cartoons so looking for more generic animals, sports, etc. themes. I have looked several places without much luck. Have you seen any decent quality bedding sets out there?

What can I do next?

P.,

Try www.olivekids.com. They have beautiful kids' bedding of the type you describe, and not too expensive. My son had the Trains, Planes & Trucks set which we originally got through the JCPenney catalog and I also saw at Target at one point; however, there is a much better selection of styles and accessories if you purchase from the website.

I found the website when looking for additional accessories to go with my son's set (quilt, airplane lamp, etc.) I was sorry to have to pack it all away when he outgrew it! They have added several great designs since then -- sports, rockets, wild animals and others -- lots to choose from.

Good luck!

Have you tried online at Pottery Barn Kids or The Company Store?? Those are my two top choices, but I have seen some for sale on ebay that have been cute too. Good luck to you! I know that boys bedding is much harder to buy than girls. It seems like all boys shoes, clothes, bedding etc has to have some sort of character on it...very annoying!! ~A.~

My favourite places are The Company Store (www.thecompanystore.com - click on Company Kids) and Target. Although I've seen some great stuff on Craigslist and Ebay as well.
I have a brand new in the bag full construction bedding set by That's Mine for sale if you are interested and have the full/twin bunk beds.

Hi P.,
I was the same way about not wanting anythinng too cartoony. For my boys' bunk beds I found a rustic looking plaid quilted coverlet a Target. They're usually along the back wall by the bedding. That way I can change the theme of the room with accessories if I want... Western, sports or whatever. I sure hope this helps.

P. - try IKEA. My little granddaughter was not into character themes either and she picked out her own bedding and luckily, if she chooses, she will be able to use it for many years and do lots of things with it.
