I too was looking for the cutouts of the words family and such and found that if you search for "primitive" words - it has many sayings. Best wishes!
I have a raised ranch home with a spiral stair case that leads from my entry hallway straight up into my livingroom. We have very tall (like 15 foot ceilings and "open rafters" in our upstairs which is our main living area. Don't know if you can picture this but the wall by my stairs is open from the entry hall downstairs all the way up to my ceiling upstairs.... so about 25 feet tall and about 20 feet wide and completely blank! At one time I wanted my husband to build selves there and then I realized that I would have to get a ladder out (Like to reach to roof) to put anything on them, dust them etc. So I skipped that idea. Then I wanted pictures but thought better of that as well since again the ladder.
So I think I know what to do here. I would like that wall to be covered in "home" quotes. Ofcourse there is no place like home from the ultimately best classic movie ever Wizard of oz. And the home is where the heart is, where your story begins, etc. I have some funny ones by Bill Cosby and such as well as some from classic literature. But anyway this is a huge space and I am looking for lots of quotes to put up there. My mother has one of those cricut machines so I am going to print it out on vinyl myself to put up rather than try to buy these. Also my husband is an artist so I may have him hand paint some of them on etc.
So looking for any and all quotes that say "home" or is in someway related to home, like I said funny, inspiring, insiteful, sappy, romantic, spiritual, etc... You name it I want it. If you know who originally said the quote like from a book or the bible or something please list it or where you think it is from. Or if its just something you say or have heard, seen somewhere ect thats ok too! Thanks moms you are all always a deep well of knowledge!

I have a large picture that sits on an easel that says this:
A man travels the world over in search of what he needs and returns HOME to find it (George Moore)
The word home is in all caps in the picture....everyone who comes to my house and reads it says it is a beautiful thought...I have to agree :-)
My favorite quote site is www.quotegarden.com. They have them arranged in categories.
This is a quote that I have hanging on my family chore board... it is a quote that my dear father would tell me my whole life and i now find myself telling my children almost daily...
"Can't never did Jack Diddly"
Good Luck I think your idea is a great one.
i saw one in our church....empty me of me and fill me with you!

Love...and you shall be loved.
We taste and feel and see the truth. We do not reason ourselves into it.

Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case
you have to eat them.
When we walk to the edge of all the light we have and take the step into the darkness of the unknown, we must believe that one of two things will happen. There will be something solid for us to stand on or we will be taught to fly. - Patrick Overton
Above and below me hovers the beautiful
I am surrounded by it
I am immersed in it
In my youth I am aware of it
And in old age I shall walk quietly
The beautiful trail.

You are the joy of all joyous things,
You are the light of the beam of the sun,
You are the surpassing star of guidance,
You are the step of the deer on the hill,
You are the step of the horse in the river valley,
You are the shape of the swan of swimming,
You are the grace of all lovely graces.
--Old Gaelic Blessing
But if you have nothing at all to create, then perhaps you create yourself.

May the Warm Winds of Heaven
Blow softly upon your house.
May the Great Spirit
Bless all who enter there.
May your Mocassins
Make happy tracks
in many snows,
and may the Rainbow
Always touch your shoulder.
"There are three ways of dealing with difference: domination, compromise, and integration. By domination only one side gets what it wants; by compromise neither side gets what it wants; by integration we find a way by which both sides may get what they wish."

"Home is where, when you have to go there, they have to take you in."
(from the poem "Death of the Hired Man" by Robert Frost).
"It takes a heap o' livin' in a house to make it home,
A heap o' sun an' shadder, an' ye sometimes have t' roam
Afore ye really 'preciate the things ye lef' behind,
An' hunger fer 'em somehow, with 'em allus on yer mind"
(from "Home" by Edgar A. Guest; not sure, it might be the whole poem here)
"Let me live in my house by the side of the road
And be a friend to man"
(from the poem "The House by the Side of the Road" by Sam Walter Foss)
I would also look through Bartlett' Familiar Quotations (your library should have a copy). That's where I looked these up to give you the sources.
Another one I couldn't find in Bartlett's: Mi cas es su casa (my house is your house); also "Make yourself at home".
Good luck, and I hope I didn't duplicate something you already had.

Faith doesn't make things easy it makes them possible.
I must say I think what you are doing is such an awesome idea!
Best of luck!

What a great idea! I found a website--lifequotes.com It has all kinds. You might have to do some looking to find something that you're looking for, but there are LOTS to choose from.
ETA: My mistake, it's not lifequotes--it's wisdomquotes.com
Sorry.
You can google "quotes about home" or search those types of quotes you listed, or even search scrapbooking quotes and you should find a lot of quotes, even a nice, short poem about a home that might look great there. I always have good luck finding quotes this way! Good luck!
It isn't quite "home" but the quote in my kitchen is "All because two people fell in love." I love it b/c our home and family started because 2 people fell in love. My grandmother would always look around when our family was together (about 35 and growing) and say "this all started with 2 people."
Home is where your story begins or Home is where they love you are two that I have seen that I liked
Home, where you are always loved
Whatever souls are made of, His and mine are the same
Family, a journey to forever
Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away
The Good Life, Good food, Good friends, Good memories
Always kiss me goodnight
My favorite is: "May the lights on our highway of life always be green" - Sounds very cute! Best wishes!
