Looking for Good Pediatric Dentist for My 5 Year Old.

i just switched detal offices and started going to Grove I am 44 yrs old and hate the Dentist have had bad experiences in the past .. Let me tell you I love this place , my visit was a pleasant visit. I've never said that about any dental visit. They have offices in Downers Grove . I myself went to the office in Bolingbrook. I would give their number to everyone ..... Goodluck They have a coupon this week on the sale ads that come in the mail.

My daughter goes to Sherman Oaks too. She is 4 and has gone twice now. She LOVES Barb the hygenist who is great. At the first appt. they took her picture and gave her a certificate.

Dr. Wascher and O'Flaherty in Downers Grove on Ogden are wonderful. They aren't pediatric dentists but you would never know it. They offer a "tooth fairy" day twice a year which is free and allows the kids to come in, explore the exam room with all the equipment with the dentist. When they are done, they visit another room where the "toothfairy" is there waiting. The kids get their picture with her that she sprinkles magic dust on to develop(polaroid), treat bag and other special surprises. During the actual visit everyone is so kind and patient. The whole office is very personable. They also are very up on new technology and that is also reflected in the experience. It is a great office for kids and adults. My kids (5 & 3) just got their check up reminder post cards and were literally dancing and jumping up and down because it was time to go back to the dentist. They love the people there and the experience.

My 4 year old has had 2 visits to a great pediatric dentist in Naperville. Easy to get to (offices right by parking garage at Corner Bakery in down town Naperville), easy to get appointments and the place is new, clean, staff is friendly and my son loves it!

Grove Dental.. We go to the Wheaton location, but they have several locations. We see Dr. Kolb and my kids love him. I didn't like that the parents don't get to go on the first visit, but they let a sibling go with them which has proven to be much better. My 6 y.o. daughter just had 2 cavities filled and she does not have the fear of the dentist like I did as a kid. Another thing I like about this practice is that they have everything from Dental to Orthodontist and I even think Maxillofacial. Good luck, let us know who you go to and your experience. Sounds unbelievable, but my 3 y.o. just had her first exam and she can't wait to go back. The dentist uses nitrous which they call the "Happy Nose" when filling cavities and with all the stuff in the news lately I was a little apprehensive, but Dr. Kolb told me the same philosophy as you, the first experiences set the stone and they want the kids experience to be good.

Dr. David Jones - Small Smiles in Naperville. Located at 75th and Book Road. Office is state of the art and totally geared towards kids. Toys and kids video playing, and at every chair. Dr. Jones is the best with the kids. My kids love him. Staff is very gentle.

We moved here from AZ about 2 years ago and had many tell us about Dr. Dave at Small Smiles (Naperville, 75th). This office is kid friendly and he is such a wonderful, kind man. My son was very scared and after our first visit he has never been scared again. Very open office, toy/play room, movies, kind hygentists, etc.

Small Smiles in Naperville. Dr. Dave is what the kids call him. My daughter loves him and her friend goes to him too. He is at Book Road and Rickert in the area there where there are other medical buildings, etc. Everyone there is friendly. Sorry, I don't have the phone number on me right now.
