Help! I am a dentist-phobe and haven't been to one in several years. I didn't care for the last dentist I saw either. Well, I'm having a tooth dilema and need to go! I am looking for a good and gentle dentist in the south Gilbert area. I've seen several new offices open up around where I live (by San Tan Village), but I'm not sure which one to pick.

J.: Dr. Arthur Novelly at the Lakes is a great Dentist. We recently tried to find a dentist closer that is not out of our network. However, we are going back to Novelly we haven't been near as happy at the other dentist. I think we got spoiled by Novelly and now it's hard to see anyone else.

I love Dr Rey Bergelin! I have been going to him for over a decade and my daughters have seen him since they were born. He just moved into a new office, Oasis Dental 1467 W Elliot Rd #101 Gilbert, AZ 85233, ###-###-####. My girls, my husband and I all love him. Last month my daughter had 4 molars pulled and she had no complaints, she is 11. He called us that night to make sure she was ok.

After looking for a dentist for years. I finally found one that understands my fears. I also have two children and didn't want them to feel the way I felt about a dentist all my life. Look no further. Dr. Kathy Jacobson ###-###-####. She is a great dentist and makes you feel completely comfortable. Her staff is very professional, yet laid back and they all make sure your experience is a pleasant one. I have had many dentists over the years and Dr. Jacobson is by far the best. Not only is he a very nice and gentle denist, the hygenist is awesome! It's a new facility with all the latest technology to make the experience as comfortable as possible. My husband and I have been going there for a year and a half and they always remember us. Good luck and don't forget to relax-it's worse in your head than it actually is ;-)
Try Dr. Cooley at Warner and Alma School. I think the number is ###-###-####. They are wonderful! If you are getting a cleaning too, ask for Daniel. I recommend them to everyone, I should be getting a kick back.
The dentist I would suggest is in Chandler, not Gilbert, but I'd highly recommend him. His name is Clint Boscamp. He owns Desert Family Dentist on the NW corner of Ray and McClintock. He's very, very good -- young, well-trained and "practical." Before I went to him, I had seen a dentist in the Ocotillo area. I had the full exam and cleaning. I had no cavities or dental issues of any kind - a perfect exam! They gave me a $29,000 estimate of work to be done! Everything from veneers to orthodontics. It just ticked me off! I wanted an honest, good dentist who would give me an accurate picture of what I NEEDED, and options for further cosmetic treatment, or whatever, if necessary. Dr. Boscamp is a great dentist and I trust him!
