There is a wildflower tracker here: http://www.txdot.gov/travel/flora_conditions.htm
You can select bluebonnets from the list
There is also a TxDot hot-line you can call, that has more up to date locations.

And actually IN Denton is a field of bluebonnets on the corner of University Drive and Ector Street.
New Zion Cemetery in Frisco just south of 380 on 423. We took our kids there, beautiful!
Go west on 380 to FM423 and take right, on your left you will see Zion Cemetery with gorgeous bluebonnets and lots of people taking pics.
Just a caution
You need to be extremely careful taking pictures in any place with tall grass, weeds, and flowers. Snakes like to hide in those places. Besides snakes there are other bugs and critters that bite and sting, along with stinging grasses.
Also, make sure you are not trespassing on someone's property. Some people really don't appreciate that.
I've heard about people who take pictures of the field and then photo-shop the person into the picture. Personally I think that's a much safer way to get the picture.
There's a bunch just south of hwy 380 on fm 423. It's on the east side of the street in an old graveyard.
