My 1 year old now hates the stroller she went around in the past year. She seems to slide down in most strollers. I have tried techno xt macleran, peg preggo aria. We've just bought a chico cortina and we're getting the same results. she cries and fusses and looks very uncomfortable.

We're looking into the Forray because of the different kind of seat, but it is SO different. Does anyone have any suggestions?

What can I do next?

Is she walking yet, or almost there? She may just be going through a stage where she wants to be getting around on her own. My son refused all strollering for about 5 months around when he started walking...it would be a shame to spend the money on another stroller if it is the idea of being strapped in she's objecting to.

M.:
First of all, check the reviews of this stroller. I found a web site you can start from and go on on other online sites to ponder your decision. www.buzzillions.com, is one of them. Based on my experience, I initially bought a Bugaboo for my first son until after a year, my husband's nephew was running to get to Animal Kingdom with my son in it and snapped out one of the front wheels. That was the end of the trip with the Bugaboo. I paid between $35 to $45 to replace the wheel and decided to leave the stroller for my new born. Thus, I decided to go for a more durable and long lasting stroller for my older son and checking reviews online, I found a nice and good price stroller that could hold a bigger, older and heavier child. That is, an Inglesina stroller. It is very easy to maneuver and It comes already in one piece. It is of light weight, easy to store, easy to open and close and it can hold a diaper bag hanging on the handles that is not too heavy. In addition, I do like the break system more than the Bugaboo. One "Con" is that the cup holder is not that big because it is an Italian stroller that holds small bottles. However, I saw the same stroller that was holding a bigger cup holder. In this regard, I have to admit that Americans like bigger things to please our comfort. I bought the red one and I love it, so far. On the other hand, my son is a very easy going child and adapts very easily to most things. In fact, when I pulled the Inglesina out from the box, he immediately wanted to ride on it. I noticed that this stroller you mention is a sort of a lower version of a Bugagoo due to the construction and the back and forth handle feature, which is really nice on the Bugaboo. However, the fact that it comes in pieces, as well as the Bugaboo, will deter me from buying it. That is, chassis comes separated from the seat or baby carrier and it is a bit bulky and heavier than other strollers. I have to admit that baby products are a rip off, regardless the economy. So, with all this info. being said, If you have the chance to bring your child and ride her to test it, would be wonderful. In spite of all the pros and cons of baby products, our children are the ones who have the last word. What works for me, may not work for others and that is the fact of life. Good luck in your search.

Every time I have had a one year old, they hate the stroller too. I am on one year old #3 -lol. It's an age thing. They'd rather be walking. I have a rule that when we are in a store, mall, large crowd my babies ( 2 year old and 1 year old ) are in the stroller. I don't take them out because of fussing, and they have learned rather quickly that they won't get out either. When the situation allows it they can walk, but are difficult to get back in the stroller. Who wants to be confined when we can run! Think it over more before spending more money on a stroller.

Hi--We have the Foray. I think it's great--you can keep the seat upright, or recline it for sleeping. You sort of have to use the buckles all the time though, b/c it is such a shallow seat. I don't always put the straps over my daughter's (15mos) shoulders, but always around the waist/thru legs. She loves it. My complaints about this are more about the frame--sometimes folding it up and unfolding it it sticks, and you can smash a finger. But, it folds up really flat, so you can fit it in a very small car. The seams on the storage compartment under the frame have started to come open on mine, sort of annoying for the price. Otherwise the frame, wheels, etc. are very sturdy, you can go over grass/curbs. The tires are real, not just plastic, so it absorbs shock well. The sun hood is great. I haven't used the rain attachment.

Good luck! -- N.

I have tried numerous strollers and my all time fav is the joovy kooper. I actually have two of them. I also have a baby jogger city mini twin that I love but don't know how the single baby jogger city mini would compare, but I adore my joovy kooper. It folds down nice and compact, it has everything needed in the stroller and it is super comfy for both my almost 2 yo and also for my 4 yo who has outgrown the height on all other strollers. The kids have loved this stroller best of all the ones we have tried, and I have tried a lot of strollers. Check it out, and you can see them at BRU if you have on near you.
