I don't have any expeience with ProActiv but can refer you to a wonderful doctor, should you need one. Her name is Trisha Brown and she's at Methodist Willowbrook. Here's the link: http://www.houstonskincenter.com

I started using Proactiv a month or so ago for my adult problems and I love it. I got it from a kiosk in Willowbrook Mall by the food court. You can also buy it online. My skin is really sensitive so for about the first week I only used it once a day and then starting on the second week I increased to twice a day. Good luck. I don't know of any dermatologists in the Cypress area, but I take my son to one in the Medical Center and she is wonderful. Let me know if you would like her name.

There is a kiosk in Katy Mills mall to buy proactiv. Home shopping network(HSN) or QVC shopping network ( I can't remember which one ) sells it ,too. They have auto ship (to where you are sent it on an automatic replacement monthly 2 monthly plan). It is cheaper and larger bottles going through hsn or qvc. My 66 yr. old mom uses it and swears by it. MY 12 yr ol ddaughter and 15 yr old neice use it to.
Just w warning though, when using it, before it makes old pimples go away it brings new ones out. With continous use, the will be gone in a few days. ( twice a day use is recommended!)
Good Luck!

Proactiv did not work for my daughters. But I have been recently learning that most skincare products have toxins that have been linked to cancer and disrupt hormones. Whatever you try, go to www.safecosmetics.org and do a search on different brands. I recently started using Glimpse, a safe non-toxic skin nutrition system and I love it. More info at www.discoverhealthyskin.com. Blessings

Hi K., I actually use proactive myself. I didn't have acne but had the occational breakout. I'm 34 and it works great for my skin, doesn't irritate it or dry it out. I buy mine from one of those carts in the middle of Willowbrook Mall. My boss and some of my clients ( I'm a hairstylist) have used a dermatologist in Methodist Willowbrook named Michelle or Trisha Brown. I hear she is really good. Good Luck, we all know those can be the hardest years of your life.
