I have an 8 year old child (3rd grade) who is gifted and it is hard to find a school that is challenging enough and also open to the creative, out of the box kind of thinking my child has. We are looking for a place that respects children as individuals and has kind and caring teachers and administrators.
Found your question while cleaning up my email. Have to looked ito Avery Coonley in Downer's Grove? It is for gifted children who must meet certain testing criteria to apply. They have a website, just google it.
