Hello, I am moving to the Crystal Lake/Lakewood IL area at the end of this month and am looking for any contacts for babysitters/nannies/part-time childcare, etc...Also, any recommendations for churches would be great too.
I'm sorry I just joined myself and am looking for some of the same things you are. We are moving to McHenry, IL at the end of the month too. We live in New Richmond, WI about 20 miles from the twin cities. We have a 17 month old. If I find out more, I'll let you know regarding childcare, etc.

Hi M. - you'll love Crystal Lake! What type of church are you looking for? There are several good ones in the area depending on what denomination, etc, you're looking for.

I live in the Crystal Lake/Cary area and you can contact the local YMCA and for a small fee ($20-35) they will give you a list of all licensed daycare/homecare centers in McHenry County. They will not list nannies though. Hope this helps :O) Good Luck with your move.
