With summer coming I am looking for recommendations for baby classes. My son will be 1 this summer and I would like to start with a baby water class, preferably weekend. Also, I am looking for a weekday class of some sort for my nanny to take him to for some interaction with other babies. He LOVES other babies, just absolutely fascinated! Thanks mommies!
BTW, thanks to all for the recommendations for the teething issues. Those teething tablets are nothing short of a MIRACLE!

Hey!

I have a 10 month old boy, and I am looking for some activity classes for my boy too. If you receive any recommendation, can you please forward it to me.
Thanks in advance.

If you want your baby to actually be able to swim after lessons and save himself if he fell in water, I would recommend infantswim.com or infantaquatics.com. I took my baby when he was 7 months old last summer and he learned to be able to right himself in the water and float to breathe. This summer he'll learn to swim under the water and float to catch his breath then swim again until he reaches the side of the pool. We also go to Tumblbugs gymnastics in McKinney once a week and that's fun.

hi A.. my son is 2 and i have found the plano rec centers. they have great classes for toddlers and little ones. they have water tots which is great. but also like mommies day out(for one and a half hours)maybe your nanny could workout during that time..i do. its is a nice break and they get social and learn to play without clinging to mom. look into it. it is through plano recreation center. the classes are cheap too. best of luck A.

City of Plano Parks and Recreation offers fun Waterbabies classes and other baby classes... I recommend taking the Waterbabies at Oak Point Center - next to Plano Centre. It's a bigger indoor pool with more space for the babies. Go to
http://parks.planotx.org/econnect/Activities/ActivitiesDe...
for information about their Waterbabies classes. Below are class names of other baby classes City of Plano offers... you could type in the name of class in the Search box to find more info about each class.

*KINDERMUSIK VILLAGE (1 MOS-18 MOS/PARENT
*LEARN, PLAY, & EXPLORE (1-2 YRS/PARENT)
*PEEK-A-BOO (1-2 YRS/PARENT)
*SIGN, SAY & PLAY (6 MOS-2 YRS)

Good luck! We took Waterbabies 2 summers in a row from Plano and we had a blast!
