I moved here in the fall with my husband and daughter from Wisconsin. I had a young, vibrant, funny, no-nonsense OB there & really want to find one similar here. Any recommendations for OB's (preferably woman)? Any good/bad experiences at Presby Plano? Thanks in advance.

Dr. Katrina Walsh is wonderful!! She's associated Plano Presby and her office is located off of Midway Road & Parker Road in Plano. ###-###-####.
The absolute best would be Randy Burt, MD ###-###-#### at Presbyterian Plano. He is a great physician with a great bedside manner and a wonderful staff. I used to think I wanted a female OB but then I realized that I just wanted the best doctor and the best hospital-not another girlfriend. He is a devoted family man who is not only knowledgable but hilariously funny. I work with MD's all day long and he is an absolute blessing. You will love him!
Dr. Jaffee is my all time favorite!!

I am a birth doula and I have worked with many different OBs in the area. Dr. Allen is the most jovial OB I know. She ALWAYS has a smile on her face and makes everyone happy to be in the same room with her! She does evening appointments at least one day a week. Whoever you pick, you better like her associates, because you might get an on call doctor.
PS They are moving into their new office building this week. They will be taking appointments in the new building starting April 19. I just saw on their website that one of the docs in the practice (Dr. Banks) is featured on "BabyStory" today at 1pm on TLC Dallas Time.
Craig Ranch OBGYN is the best in the area. go to their website, Dr. Sarah Roberts. You'll love the office, it's very classy and is newer. The staff is all professional and has such good personalities.

I had to be on hospital bed rest and my daughter was delivered at 30 weeks, so she was in the NICU for 5 weeks and that hospital is great!!

I absolutely love my ob. She works out of Plano Presby and Plano Medical Center. Her name is Janelle Watts. She is funny...great attitude...listens to what you have to say. I have been seeing her for 3yrs now. Just leave me a message if you would like her number, as I write this I dont have it available. Good Luck.
I always have to recommend Dr. Lauren Michelsen. She's young, bright, funny, and quite brilliant in my opinion. I love having her for my OBGYN. She also was very careful when I started having high blood pressure issues w/my pregnancy - she was proactive in ensuring a safe pregnancy for me and my baby. She's a bit more north though in Frisco at Centennial Medical (it's at Coit and Hwy 121) - she's worth the drive though!
