Looking for an After Hours Babysitter Around Galleria Area

I'm sorry K., I used to babysit all hours, but now I'm employed and don't do that anymore. And unfortunately my sitter is only available during daytime hours. Have you tried going on www.initiativesforchildren.com they are a part of CPS's website, you can search for a sitter that is open after hours. i'm sorry i couldn't be more help.

Advice: I am sorry. I know of no one in that area now...but The Westin Hotel in the Galleria used to keep a list of babysitters at their Bellman's station. You might call them for a reccommendation. T.

Let me know if you find someone, we are in the same boat. I was going to check a professional "nanny" agency.

Go to www.initiativesforchildren.org
click on Families/Childcare then click on the Find Childcare. They have a searchable childcare referral database. Use your zip code or any other search criteria that works for you. It is a great place to begin your search. Call and conduct a personal interview of those that interest you. I encourage you to visit the place, and try talking to some of the parents. Good luck.

I have a good friend down in the area (Kelsey Beard) who my daughter loves to hang out with. My daughter is eight, and had open heart surgery in June, so my standards of who watches her are fairly high. Kelsey is 32, works for Pride International Drilling in the Legal Department and is wonderful. Let me know if you might be interested in having her watch your two boys and I'll provide you her cell number.

She would probably prefer to watch them at your house as opposed to hers though - she lives in an appt and her house is not child proofed. With an 8 year old...not such a big deal.
