I dont want to buy something that looks cheap. I am thinking about buying online but I don't really know what I am looking for. I have seen some tuxedo's as low as 45.00 that right there says to me DON'T buy this item...but are they normally that cheap?? I just need to know of a good place where I can purchase from. my son will be in two weddings one in Aug and one next May. I am buying a bigger size and plan to get it tailored. please help!!!!

What can I do next?

We've done it 2 ways in our family. Sometimes the boy(s) have rented from the place where the men are renting theirs. Those places often sell them too, and used would be cheaper. Sometimes we've had the boy's mom buy something cute like white dressy shorts and a blazer or a white 1st communion type suit from a children's store. I think you could check around and find something cheaper since we're at the end of a season. One place that has a ton of dressy kids' clothes is Connie's at 9 Mile and Mack in St.Clair Shores. I'd sure try Target first if it were me, though. Are you sure both brides want him to wear the same thing? Sometimes they have a very specific requirement. I wouldn't invest much in this, however it goes. Getting it tailored and all sounds expensive!

When my oldest son was 1 1/2 yrs. old, he was in my sister's wedding. We actually bought a tux for around $50 from Gibralter Trade Center. It sounds funny to shop from there, but they have vendors that sell all types of kids clothes (baptism, wedding, communion).

Hope that helps!

We are renting one for my 2 and 3 year olds for a wedding this summer from President Tuxedo. Maybe they sell used ones there too??
I want to say it is only $45 to rent one so maybe you would rather rent anyway.

My 19 month old was just in a wedding. (Yes, that's right) We bought a tux on-line at Tinytux.com. They have black and white tux's and EVERY color vest, bowtie and clip on tie. It was $59 I think. I have also seen new tux's on e-bay. A LOT cheaper, $25 or so, but my new sister-in-law wanted my son to have a white vest and tie and the ones on e-bay are all black. So check out that website, especially if you need a special color vest/tie. The tux seemed to be good quality. I guess to buy or rent a tux at a place like president is the same price. Also, for my son, they did not have white, only black.
