A great school in Katy is Faith West Academy, it is from 3yrs thru 12th grade, no daycare option!
My 4-year-old attends the Katy Visual and Performing Arts (KVPAC) Pre-K program. It is for children ages 3-5. It is a unique program, with a combination of learning through play with a bit of traditional educational materials thrown in here and there. And, of course, lots and lots of ART! All kinds--music, theater, visual, just everything you can imagine. They are expanding to a 5-day program next year, but they do not have a daycare option. You have the option of 2, 3 or 5 days. Hours are 9-2:30. My daughter loves it...this is the 3rd preschool she has attended and the only one she's been happy with. I believe their website is KVPAC.org. Best of luck to you!
