Can anyone recommend a good plumber? Or tell me which ones to avoid? The secondary sump pump in our basement needs to be replaced, and the pipes to the sink in the garage cracked in the recent cold spell. The only plumber we've had any contact with since we moved here a year ago is the one contracted to our home warranty, and we weren't all that impressed with him. I'd rather go on personal recommendations than just pick someone out of the yellow pages.
Cheers,
E.
I apologize for not following up on this earlier. I went with Paul E. Smith. The guys they sent over were prompt, polite, informative and got the work done quickly. One of the men was a bit too heavily doused in aftershave, but that's the only negative thing I can think of!

Hi there! I live in Noblesville. I have a friend who does plumbing work and he worked on our sump pump---we were very impressed. He actually installed a WATER back up sump pump system which is much safer than a battery back up. It costs us a little under $500 for all the parts, labor, etc. His name is Cory Louks. He lives over here in Noblesville as well, but services that area. If you would be interested I can give you his phone number. Just message me and let me know. Take care, S.
Paul E Smith Plumber is wonderful!
