Hi L.. My daughter is also on SoonerCare and we find that most of the time we don't see the same doctor anyway. We started out going to the OU clinic but ended up switching to the OSU clinic and we like it a lot better. Good luck to you L..
I am on SoonerCare (state)insurance now, and I don't know which doctor to go to! I look through the list and still come away not knowing where to turn. Can anyone reccomend a doctor that takes SoonerCare? I have heard about Utica Clinic, but don't know any of the docs there. We live in Brookside. Any referrals will be appreciated!

My children see Dr. Carl Pfanstiel. I know he used to accept Soonercare. We have gone to him for 9 yrs now. He is very personable. You can see only him or you can set appts. with a female Dr he has in the office. I personally like seeing the same dr. That way he/she gets to know you and your family, but most of all your children! His office is in Broken Arrow but to me the drive is worth it. If you decide to check it out, the office # is ###-###-####. Good luck!!
we use the ou physicans clinic located behind hillcrest hospital at 11th and utica and they are wonderful you have the chose of picking a pcp or you can just see who is avalible, the only thing is that they are all residents which means they only work there for one year but i have a 6 yr old boy and a 2yr old boy and we have never even had a fuss out of either one of them going (in which we had before going to a family doc) everything that your child could ever need is located on the spot immuzations, records, and plus the hospital is literally about 50 yards away in case of a serious emergency our experience has just been wonderful with the front staff and doctors as well good luck J.
I preffered OSU's physician's clinic over OU's clinic as well.
Personally, I would look for physicians around 18-21st and Wheeling to Utica. St. John's is far superior to Hillcrest in my opinion
