Trying to find a good Pediatrician in the Santa Clarita area. I want someone who is also open to alternative treatments or at least open to discussing. Someone who will listen to our concern and not rush us through appointments. Patient. Thank you for your help.

You will find that the best pediatricians in the Santa Clarita Valley are at Santa Clarita Pediatrics. Dr. Yen and Dr. Valdipalldi are the two best childrens doctors you can ever find. They are Kansas Street cross street is Lyons. There telephone number is ###-###-####. They have treated my two twins since they were six months old. There is no better care in this valley than these two fine doctors.

My favorite Pediatrician in no longer in Santa Clarita but close by in Granada Hills. It is Dr. Al Melaragno (DR. AL to his patients) He used to be with Valencia Peds. His is in Granada Hills, the number is ###-###-####. My kids have asthma and allergies and he really listens to what I have to say and to what the kids have to say about how they are feeling. My older kids still love him and only trust him.
Santa Clarita Pediatrics!! I just had my first baby in January, and from day one in the hospital, they have been wonderful. My husband and I have decided to delay vaccinations, and they are very understanding.

The absolute best pediatricians out here in the SCV are Discovery Pediatrics. Dr. Paul and Dr. Daphne Horowitz are amazing!! They actually take the time to talk with you about whatever questions you have, there is not wait time and no limit to how many questions you can ask. They only take PPO insurance and do charge an annual fee of $275 but it's well worth it. Go to their website and check them out: www.discoverypeds.com

I am in love with Discovery Pediatrics - in every way possible! DP is a limited private practice, both doctors are wonderful (they happen to be married) approachable, caring, nurturing, and extremely well versed on current pediatric guidelines and standards. The nurses are also terrific, with great shot administering skills (which we moms know is a VERY big deal!) The concept of HOUSE CALLS, personalized care with NO waiting in the lobby for long hours before your appointment is genius and extremely well implemented at DP. I have two little boys, and have seen both Dr's - both are equally impressive, and the practice will be a part of our family for many years to come. I give them the HIGHEST recommendation possible.
Discovery Pediatrics is the best! As a first time mom, I had so many questions and concerns and they were always available to talk to me or see me. I will never change docs. :)
