I am looking for a pediatric optometrist to take my 8 year old and 5 year old daughters to for their first eye exam. We live in the Johns Creek/South Forsyth area. Any recommendations would be most appreciated!
I don't believe there is on- we also live in South Forsyth and we have taken our kids to Thomas Eye Group and seen Dr. Levine. He came highly recommended, but he is down at Johnson Ferry area.
Hi J.: I am a pediatric nurse and have been for a very long time; the best Pediatric eye specialists in Atlanta are at the Thomas Eye group; Dr Stephen Levine and Steven Lipsky; but there is also Dr Salit. All of my children have been patients there for many years; as they all have had eye problems.
The main office is over by Scottish Rite's main hopsital; but the Thomas eye group has offices all over the area.

Hello~I would recommend South Forysth Eye Care. They're not a pediatric opt., but do see children. I take my son there. Everyone is pleasant and the dr.s are great! They have two offices, one is Alpharetta and brand new office behinds Kohl's (John's Creek). Good Luck!

Dr. Stephen Early at Four Eyes on Windward Pkwy is great with kids! I had a terrible experience with a pediatric optometrist in downtown Cumming last year. She had no idea how to talk to or handle kids. So when it was time for my seven year old's exam I decided I would be better off taking him to Dr. Early, who my husband and I see. I knew I liked him a lot but had no idea he would be so much better with children than that other idiot doctor. Plus, he was a lot cheaper!
