My former nanny is looking for work in Queens or Manhattan. I'd be happy to pass on her contact information. Also, the Irish Echo - both online and in print -- is a good place to look.
Does your neighborhood have a parents or parents association listserv? I live in Bed-Stuy BK, and there are always posts about nannies who are seeking new families because the kids are now in school. Talk to parents in your neighborhood!
