I have healthy 6 month old twins and the few routine appointments we have had with our Pediatrician I have had to wait about an hour in the room until she gets to us. I am looking for referrals of a GOOD prompt Dr. that I could interview. Any recommendations in the West Dundee/Hoffman Estates area would be greatly appreciated.

What can I do next?

I have 4 kids, 2 that are twins. We see Dr. Rosewell in Hoffman Estates. She is a great dr and doesn't dismiss any concerns. We do have to wait sometimes but usually not long. The other drs there are Silver and Norbash. There is another, Bettingfield who I prefer not to see. Their number is ###-###-#### and they are located at Higgins and Barrington Rds. Hope this helps.

We first tried Bedingfield's office and while they were okay, we weren't happy b/c they seemed more old-fashioned. Also in the Hoffman area is Pediatric Care Associates (Dr's Boton, Fitzpatrick, McCoy, and Reinstein) and we are currently trying them. I have a 12 week old. Out of the 2 docs we have seen so far, Dr. Reinstein was the better one for us....very informative, takes her time, and is understanding and even took my calls herself at the office instead of making me talk to a nurse. Saw Dr. Boton recently and he is just a bit "flat" and not much personality - but might have just been a busy day. I have not had to wait huge amounts of time either time, but this past time I did wait a little. To be fair, they had to squeeze us in last minute.

They do have a website (I think it's pediatriccareassoc.com...if not, google them). Hope that helps!

I have 3.5 yr old boy & girl twins and our doctor is in Schaumburg - called Bonaventure Old Towne, right at Schaumburg & Roselle Rd. There are several doctors to choose from, our doctor is Dr. Osted and is young, very nice, a parent himself and I dont wait for then 15 minutes at most. Congrats on your twins - they are so much fun!! Good Luck!

Hi, I have 13 month old twins and we have been seeing Dr. Preeti Mirchandani at Pediatric Care Assosiates in Hoffman Estates. They are in the oodles of buildings at Higgins and Barrington roads. She is a very good doctor, has listened to all of my concerns, was fantastic when my daughter was in the hospital with meningitis. The office staff is decent, some of the nurses are great, some are morons but I think you get that everywhere. We have only had to wait at most 20 minutes for our appt, but usually we get right in within a few minutes. The only problem I have with this office is that I DO NOT like 3 of their other physicians (Dr. Boton, Dr. McCoy and Dr. Reinstein). They dismissed my concerns many times and all have big egos and will not listen to anything I say. If you go with this practice, only see Dr. Mirchandani or Dr. Fitzpatrick. It's hard to avoid seeing the others in an emergency though. Best of luck, I know how hard it is trusting someone with twins.
