My kids are now 17 and 14 and have been going to Dr Watts since they were 2. They were always asking when is it time to go to the dentist. He is great and so is his office staff. They are located just off 360 and 183.
Dr Scott Gordon is wonderful with kids and adults too. My whole family goes there.
Also, Dr Michelle Freeze specializes in kids and is so protective in regards to having the kids have a good experience.
We use Modern Family Dentistry of Oak Hill - my 3 yr old loves it there and actually asks when she can go back - go figure. The number is ###-###-####. It is a husband and wife practice - they just had their first baby last May. We see Dr. Ben Sharfae.

Pamela Singletary at Rising Star is great! She and her staff are very sweet and patient with kids. She is near Lakeline Mall.
My family has always gone to Dr. Greg Edson. He's located off Mopac & 2222 in Central Austin. He was my husband's dentist and we've added 3 kids to the brood since then and he's fabulous with all of them. My daughter is now 5 and loves to go see Dr Edson. The first time she came with me to an appointment, he sat on the floor with her and showed her all of his tools, right down on her level. He has no problem letting them sit on my lap while he's looking at my teeth so they can see what he's doing. So they know exactly what he's doing. My son, who's now 3, was pretty nervous about the dentist, but somehow once Dr. Edson came in the room he calmed right down and jumped up in the chair. He's not a pediatric dentist, but he's really good with kids. And, a big bonus is that we can all get our appointments out of the way on one trip. With 3 kids, that is fantastic! It is a small little place, they always know your name and what is going on in your life. We love them. Info below.

Dr. Pamela Singletary is wonderful. We had a dental emergency last year and she was referred to us by our regular dentist, Dr. Daren Evans (also wonderful) who went to school with Dr. Singletary. She came highly recommended and we were very pleased with her and her staff. They made my son feel comfortable and made a scary experience easier to deal with. Her office was in the 360 area, but I believe she may have moved to the Lakeline Mall area. Good luck!

This is the link for Dr. Michelle Freeze's locations. She has one in Steiner Ranch-not sure how far that is from you. We go to their north office and they are wonderful!! They only see kids and are very patient and friendly.
I have loved our dentist, Dr. Lintakoon. He is in the shopping center on the corner of Mopac and BeeCaves/Zilker Park exit. My son has just started going to him and he loves him. He won't take kids until they are 5 though. He told me that children don't need to come until they are losing teeth or getting to the age of losing teeth. He is at ###-###-####.
