My family has just moved to Minnesota from Chicago and loved our pediatrician. We are now looking for a pediatrician for my 8 month old son. I am looking for someone who will take time to answer any questions, even if they are from an "anxious first time mom!"

I'm not sure of the clinic's name, but Dr. Tanya Bryan now serves the Wayzata area and she is AWESOME. She used to see my kids at Andover Park, but she moved about a year ago. We've been mourning ever since.

Welcome to Minnesota - my husband and I are also from Chicago. We had our little boy here a year and a half ago and use Wayzata Children's Clinic. I've had great experiences with them so far. What I like best is at the well-baby visits, they send you home with handouts on things like food, safety, sleep, etc. I had to go to a pediatrician in Chicago for his 15 month appointment and felt lost when I didn't get one. The doctors have been great and always have plenty of time for us - I never felt rushed. We go to the Chaska location, but they do have a Wayzata Office. We see Dr. McHugh, and I think he has hours in the Wayzata office as well. He's great... we also saw Dr. Dodig when my son was born (in the hospital) and I liked her as well. Hope this helps.

I live in South Minneapolis but actually make the drive to Hopkins for our pediatrician Dr. Wanderman. He's with Aspen Medical Clinic - ###-###-####. Our doctor is always very thoughtful and patient at our visits whether they are well visits or a quick check-in. With my first child I had tons of questions and I could always get a hold of a nurse to talk to. And if necessary the doctor would call me back too. Good luck!
