Looking for a Great Bra for a C+ Cup.

Sorry iif this is too much information, but I used to be a full C cup, but those C cups are just not as firm and perky as they once were. I am looking for a GREAT bra for a C+ cup person that really has a lot of hoist and holds things into place. Now that I've lost all of my baby weight, I am looking a little bit sloppy up top. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I second Nicole's opinion, the Vanity Fair Body Sculpt is my new favorite too! I was in the exact same boat you are, and I love how much more supported I look and feel in these bras. You can often find them at Kohl's for half off, which is an added bonus. Good luck!

Lane Bryant has AMAZING people in their bra section. I wear a 38G / 40F. Finding bras is a HUGE pain. These ladies, however, are amazing. If they don't have a bra that works for you, they will know where you can look for it.

I have found that Ambrielle is very good it puts the girls back where they belong. So far JCPenny has had some really good deals on them. =)

I LOVE Wacoal. I am very petite and I'm a natural perky 34DD.

I got professionally fitted at Neimans and that is where I buy but you can get them at Dillards, Macy's, Nordstrom.

Getting prefessionally fitted will also help you a great deal.

I would highly recommend going to a bra specialist for a fitting. Tina's Closet in Lisle is phenomenal. You'd be surprised what size you should actually be wearing and amazed at how good your girls can look!

I like the Playtex 18 hour seamless smoothing bras. I've replaced a few at a time, using sales and discounts. Now my collection is complete and I'm much happier! Good luck.

I have been a QVC shopper (TV) for more than 15 years and in recent ones have purchased bras and underwear from them. The line I really like is Breezies. They have a huge variety of sizes and types. The best thing about it is that if the item doesn't work out within the first 30 days even if you have worn it (but then don't wash it), you can return it for a refund. You would need to become a member, call 800-345-1515, but there is never any pressure after that. I have found them to have excellent quality products from housewares to clothes to food. You can get both under wire and soft cups. Good luck. I rarely use regular retail for clothes or shoes any more. S.

if i were you i would just go to victoria secret, its a good investment...their braws last a long time, and you can try on braws and the workers can help you fit. good luck, i am still breast feeding, and i don't wear braws until im done breastfeeding, i just wear a lifted sports braw, thats what i would do.

Rule of thumb...most women can go down a band size and UP a cup size. Go to a departments store and get a professional fitting. It's well worth the time.

I got this bra at the walmart: http://www.hanes.com/Hanes/Products/Women-Hanes/Women_Sho...

If that link doesnt work, it's Hanes G603

I'm a 36 C and it has worked great and lasted more than a year with little visible wear, even though my husband occasionally forgets and sticks it in the dryer.

I have sworn by Warner's bras for years and years .The "reducer" bras provide great support and make you look smoother and slimmer. They're pricey, but worth it- after all, you'll be wearing one every day! I think they're at Macy's and maybe Nordstrom. I haven't had as much luck with the less expensive kind of bra, since that type does not tend to be made as well, and doesn't provide great support or a great look.

Ya, I can relate. I get nice bras from Victoria's Secret or Frederick's of Hollywood. You can order on line. They both carry bras for fuller figures.

I second the recommendation for Tina's Closet. After two kids and wearing a sports bras for about 3 years after my second was born I went. It wasn't cheap, but she did set me on the right track. I got some great bras, great advice and felt like she took care of me. My "girls" look great.

I was a Certifies Bra Fitter at Dillards. WACOAL Bras are the Best! The fit, support and durability are amazing. I even wore some of mine while i was nursing.

Make sure your getting most of your support from the band, then get a good cup, pretty, demi or full what ever you like, the other Main Important thing becides the Band is the Straps, the wider strap with Little to no streach is going to be the Best support.

Good luck also once you have your size and style. ROSS and MARSHALS have all kinds of bras even Wacoal :) Ebay too

Firsr go somewhere where they will measure and fit you. Once that is done any good bra will hold those girls up. Been through it all and so have my friends. Not cheap to get a good bra but it is worth it in looks and comfort.

Walmart has miles of bras (Hanes!) and I wear some from there since I have the same issue. Ah if that were my only problem...

It could be the fit of your bras as much as the bra itself. There are statistics that something like 75% of women are wearing the wrong size bra. There is a lot of misconceptions in how to measure and what a correct fit is.

If I were you I would go to a real lingere store (Not Victoria's secret).. and get measured by someone that actually knows bras. The other option is ordering online but call and speak with the staff. I use a company called Lady Grace. The women that work there are VERY knowledgable. You can send bras back that don't fit right, but if you follow their measurement instructions you should be off to a good start.

I am wear a very large cup size, so I have the same challenges of keeping the "girls" perky. I like the Goddess brand underwires. I also think Aviana makes a great bra.

Try this brand as it provides a good fit and no underwire. Great if you are still nursing as well.

I am very large chested and have had the best results at Intimacy which is at 900 N Michigan Ave. in downtown Chicago. They fit you great without measuring and I have never had a problem. They cost a little more, but last a long time. I just replaced all of mine from about 2 years ago, so with proper care they can last.

I highly recommend getting a fitting done! I went from a 36 B before my pregnancy to a 36DD throughout my pregnancy and slowly back down to a 34D (my son is over a year old now). I have gotten several fittings throughout all of those stages, it helped sooo much! They were also able to help recommend bras. I've gone to speciality stores, but I've also gone to Macy's and just requested a fitting. My current favorite bras are Vanity Fair's Body Caress, Vanity Fair's Body Sculpt and Warner's makes a great "perfect T-shirt" bra. It's amazing how much the right fitting bra makes a difference! Hope this helps!

I use and love the Calvin Klein "perfectly fit" bras.
There are many different styles and designs. I use the T-shirt bras. Love it.

If you do a Google search on it, or look on Amazon, you will find it.
I got mine locally, from Nordstrom.
I liked it so much I got it in all the colors.
I've had it for about 1 year and its still in great shape and condition. Washing it of course in a mesh lingerie bag.

I'm a C cup.
My Hubby told me that this bra looks SO much better under my clothes... than my previous bras.

All the best,
Susan

I agree with many of the other posters...get professionally fitted! La Bellissima in Crystal Lake is wonderful if you're ever out this way. I was SO far off on my bra size it was ridiculous!! They will not only find you the right size, but show you the proper way to put it on (yes, there is a right and wrong way!) and tell you proper washing instructions. The bras at these places are pricey, but WELL worth it and if you follow their instructions will last you a long time!

p.s. A good fitter will not use a tape measure and don't be shocked when they grab your boob and move it around in the bra until it's in the proper position....a little weird at first, but you'll get used to it. La Bellissima is just a couple minutes walk from the train station if that helps!
