Looking for a Good Reading Tutor in Murphy Area

My little boy is going into 3rd grade. He ended 2nd grade right on level, but he has always struggled a little in reading. I found a tutor to work with him this summer, so he would be good to go for 3rd grade. Well, at the last minute she backed out on me because she got a full time job. :(

Does anybody know of a good reading tutor in Murphy, Plano, Allen?

What can I do next?

Actually I might be able to help. I am a homeschool mom of 8 years. I have 3 boys and have homeschooled them all since Kindergarten, so I have taught two to read, and will begin my 4 year old this fall. They are now 8th grade, 5th grade, and Kindergarten.

Teaching boys calls for a unique approach sometimes. One on one is wonderful for them! I use a curriculum that alot of private schools use. It is wonderful. It's called A-Becka.

I am not in the tutoring "business." I do have experience though so I feel like I can help him. Whatever you do, I wish you/him success! If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Enjoy the summer!
