Chiming in with what was already said, I would check out the Troy schools programs.

I know several SAHM's that also use the Troy co-op preschool.

Another school that I really like is Japhet, which depending on where you live, might not be too far.

Other schools I've heard good things about, or liked myself:
Birmingham Community Montessori- www.bcmpreschool.com
Spanish Immersion Montessori- www.spanishfortoddlers.com

Building Blocks pre school at Hamilton - it's run by the Troy School District - it's a full day program 8:10 - 3:12 everyday. It's a wonderful program. My daughter is there until June 18 and my son will be going in September.

I hear that Kensington in Troy has an excellent prek program and very good "stuff" - lots of new toys, learning tools, etc.

My son just got done with the PALS Preschool program at Wass Elementary in Troy. It is done through troy school district and is wonderful. My son loved his teacher and really misses it now that it is all over. It is 2 1/2 hours, 3 days a week for the 4y/o, includes snacktime and is basically a kindergarten prep. course, everything they need to know.

The PALS Program is offered at many of the elementary schools and I have heard they are all great!

God Bless,
K.
