Hi Moms! I'm looking to get my 14 month old son a simple Thomas the tank engine train set for Christmas. I was wondering if someone could tell me where to find the best deals on Thomas. Thanks so much for your help!

What can I do next?

K. - here is the best suggestion. Go to IKEA. Purchase their train set (two different boxes). It will probably be $30 total and it will give you 5 or more trains. Then just go to Michaels and pick up the actual Thomas the train (for wood). You will save so much more money doing it this way and the kids never know the difference. The actual Thomas the train sets are so freakin much money. You can also go to Ross. They usually have some TTT sets but these are plastic and run on batteries.

Best of Luck

Have you looked on Craig's List? You might get lucky and find a new set or perhaps a set in good used condition!

Both Taget & AC Moore sell Thomas, and AC Moore always has great coupons in there sale ad. I also saw a DVD set of Thomas movies at Costco for around $20.00.
