I am looking for a good pediatrician. I have tried Kid Pediatrics and did not like them at all! I also did not care very much for Dr. Nichols and Knapp in Southlake at Cooks Childrens. I am looking for a pediatrician that will actually pay attention and care about my child's issue and health. I know it is the norm these days to rush people in and out, but I was hoping to find a pediatrician that did a little more than that. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I see Dr. Obrien-Su at Southlake Family Medicine as my primary care physician and I love her. She is super smart and really caring. I think she does pediatrics too.

Wanted to add - I never have to just see a Nurse Prac; I have only been ONCE when I had to see another doc...she's very loving and caring.
I have a 5 month old and an 11 year old and she is GREAT with both. My 11 year old suffers from migraines and she has really helped with that. She is great with all the well baby check-ups. She takes her time and listens..never rushed. She really is a kind and caring doctor. She is a pediatrician and an internal medicine doctor.

I use Dr. Sara Yok in the Keller Town Sq - Cooks Children's.
She has taken care of my baby since the day she was born. She listens to our concerns and problems. Our daughter has been treated for Torticollis, Plagiocephaly, lactose intol., intestinal prob, skin issues and now seeking help with possible Tourettes. If it is something she is unsure about she will refer you to another doctor who can help. I like that she listens to my concerns and doesnt disregard them.
All the doctors in that office are women and have been great! I like doctor Hampton and Matlock as well. Dr. Hampton is very sweet and Dr Matlock is okay...but she tends to be quick in her visits.

We also go to Dr. Sara Yok. I like that seems to genuinely care for my three children. She is not slow but she does not rush through an exam. And she always wants to hear any concerns we have. One time she even took me into another room so the children could not hear what I was saying. She is very helpful.
The only negative with her that I see is that she is not up on alternative treatments. If that is not important to you, then I'd say she would be GREAT for your children.
