I am looking for a well reputable pediatrician, who takes the time to talk to their patients/parents in the Matthews area. I am also looking for a good pediatric or family dentist as well.

I have a 7 month old daughter. We absolutely LOVE her pediatrician. She goes to Krista Lavonas at Matthews Children's Clinic on Matthews Township Parkway accross from Presbyterian Hospital. My daughter had thyroid issues at birth and Dr. Lavonas helped us AND our daughter through this difficult time.

I highly recommend Linderman Pediatrics for your daughter. They are right in downtown Matthews on Trade St. Drs. Hala, Linderman and Willard are great. Their number is ###-###-####.
Laxer, Long & Savage are wonderful pediatric dentists at Ballentyne Commons and Rea Rd. My son sees Dr. Judith Laxer and she is wonderful. Their number is ###-###-####.

I have a little girl who is 3 1/2 years old. We have been seeing Dr. Charles Blanton at Matthews Children's Clinic. We've seen many Dr's there, but he is by far my favorite. My daughter was sick at 6 months with chronic ear/sinus/allergies, and he stayed the course with us. He recommended other specialist to us and worked with them to get her the help she needed. Today, I can say she is well! No more visits every 10 days.
We also see Dr. Long at Laxer and Long. In my opinion, they are top notch. She has been going since 1. She is very shy, but they can get her back there by herself, and are very patient and knowledgeable. Hope this helps!

I live in Mint Hill, have a 5 year old and travel to Randolph and Wendover for my pediatrician and dentist. I have no intentions of leaving. All the doctors are great but our fav is Julie Bogus, NRP. And everyone at the dentist makes the visit very relaxed and pleasurable.

We also go to Matthews Children's Clinic ... favorite doc is Dr Thomas but they're all very good. Have to call a few months out for well appts but they'll always see a sick child right away :) Great nurse assistance when calling w/ questions or concerns.
