Hey Mamas,
I'm looking for the best darned female OB GYN you can think of who'se out of Presby Plano. I have been going to Jane Nokelberg out of Presby Dallas forever. I'm so sad that I'm going to have to leave her, but my hubby and I now live in McKinney and work in Richardson, so it's just not feasible. I figure Presby Plano is a reasonable distance from work and home. I'm looking for a female doctor with a good track record who is friendly and family-oriented. My husband loves Dr. Nokelberg because she treats him like part of the family. Sadly, we've had experiences where he felt looked down upon by other doctors when I was pregnant last time, so it's really important that she be very amicable toward the husband as well. I'm not against epidurals or even c-sections if they're necessary, so I'm not neccessarily looking for an ultra-conservative doctor. If you know anyone who fits this description, please let me know their name and phone number (if possible). Thanks, moms!

I have seen Dr. Campbell for 8 years and she delivered both of my boys. She is awesome! Dr. Garner is a male Dr. at NorthLake and he is great too, your husband would LOVE him. But since you are looking for a female, definitely call and see if Dr. Campbell is taking new patients!!
i love Dr. Gwen Webster. I've been going to her for 6 yrs! She's super nice and compassionate. Great people skills. She's part of Plano Healthcare for Women and delivers at Presby Plano. Dr. Jaffee is great as well!
not sure of why someone said to avoid dr nivens and dr tylovich's office, but i love going to dr nivens. the staff is very nice, easy to work with, very responsive (i was in another state and had an ear infection and she was able to help me!)---i had a great delivery--oh, and my husband was with me in his construction clothes and always felt welcome--even my oldest boy went w/ me and she was great!!!! there are toys in the office that they invite the kids to take into the examining rooms and stickers and suckers at checkout!
Dr. Katrina Walsh ###-###-#### is awesome. She is so friendly and treats you like you were her only patient. My husband loves her as well and is always impressed when he comes to my appointments with me. She makes sure to give husbands plenty of attention and answers any questions that they may have as well.
She delivers out of Plano Presby now, however, her office is currently at Plano Medical Center (she's due to move when her lease is up). I've been going to her for about 12 years now and would never consider any other doctor.
Just a side note, though - there is usually a long wait at her office because she spends so much time with each patient. I always plan on spending about 20 minutes in the waiting room. It's worth the wait though.

I second Dr. Webster. My husband liked her too, he felt included in everything b/c of her. Nice staff and nurses too!
I would avoid the offices of Dr. Traci Nivens and Courtney Trylovich.
However, I think my new OB delivers at Presby Plano too. I have been impressed with her so far (she is at Baylor Frisco). Her name is Suzette Boyd. ###-###-####
I live in McKinney too so I understand trying to find someone somewhat near you.
I love Dr. Kelli Watkins (http://www.farrowandwatkins.com). She delivered my son. Without her he would not be here. She usually calls me back personally and her office is warm and friendly. I also don't have to wait very long when I have a scheduled appt.
I can't say enough good things about her. She treated my husband very well and he never felt looked down upon. I feel like she is part of our family and I never run into her out in public without getting a huge smile and warm hug. She is young and has children in elementary school.
