Hi moms I am new to the area as well as being a new mom.I have a 7 month old beautiful baby boy. My husband and I have been talking a lot about how we do NOTHING anymore he keeps trying to explain that we need some alone once in a great while! I understand but I have heard so many horror stories about sitter.(It probable doesn't help either that he is our little Miracle) We are both stay at home parents!Which we are very lucky, but have no alone time! We are both with him 24-7. It is starting to cause a lot of stress!!!!!!!!!! Can anyone help???

I am sure being your first child it being hard to allow someone else beside you and your husband to take care of him, but you also need to take time once in a while just you and your husband. Both of you taking time for each other will also benefite your child because it will guarantee that there will be less stress and your marriage will be stronger and happier for it and your child will thank you for it in the future that you not only took care of him but you nurtured your marriage and made it a peaceful loving place for him to live in.

I see you have alot of response already but here is mine anyhow. Im 27 & relocated here last year. I stay at home while my daughter goes to shcool & my boyfriend works nights. we are also beginnign to work eachother nerves. My daughter is handicap & I need to be flexible for her dr schedule & don't trust anyone to watch her on the weekends. I am looking for ANYTHING to get my out of the house during the week. I have no friends & there is only so much shopping & cleaning a girl can do before going crazy! I have a clean backround & love children. I want another one myself but we arent ready for that just yet.
