I am looking to relocate to the Overland Park area in the next couple of months and am looking for 24/7 daycare (preferrably a home setting) for my 8 year old daughter. I will be working shift work - including weekends and holidays - and the shifts will even change on a periodic basis. Help! :)

It's been so long since you posted this I'm hopeful that you resolved your situation. If not, let me know. I live in Prairie Village at 63rd and Nall. I have a little boy who will be 2 in August. I'm looking to do some childcare out of my home. I'm pretty much home 24/7 and have an extra bedroom. If nothing else, maybe I could be an emergency backup for you.

I know someone who is a Dr. Since her shifts are varied, the day care provider she uses does evenings, days, whatever.
However, they live in Westwood, KS (up north by the plaza and I think the sitter is somewhere close by her. I can contact her to see if the sitter is accepting other children.
