Can anyone recommend a really good Pediatric Dentist in the Almaden/ Blossom Vally area? We just moved to San Jose from Glendale ,Ca. We had an awesome dentist there with a facility that was nothing but for kids! Thank you for any help.

We loved Dr Ikehara. He is near Target on Hillsdale. My kids started going there when they developed fear of Dentist. The whole staff is wonderful there. I have 4 children and when we would go for checkups they would call for all of them at once and if they weren't in the chair they were playing games in the same room.

I use Dr Ligh, ###-###-####. My daughter was really afraid at first and screamed the first visit. It was very embarrassing. The staff was great they helped to calm her and rescheduled the appointment. They advised me to bring her back one more time with no appointment just to do a walk through and show her all the kids that are there. She did great! They have tv's above every chair with headphones so that the kids are entertained. Lots of staff and plenty of toys.. She loves to go now and says hi to everyone. Clean and professional office they even decorate accordingly. All kids welcome! They are located on Bascom. Good Luck!
Dr. Randy Ligh is great. He is in San Jose. The office is always decorated in a different theme and the kids love it. They have t.v.s on the ceilings with headphones for the kids. They have closed glass doors for those who need it. On the other side of the office is ortho. The staff is very friendly and they always work with you when needed. My son has been with him since he was 3, he is now 15 and my younger children see him as well. Good luck!

She is the best! I have been taking my son to her since he was a child(now 15 years old) and he loves her! She is right off of Hwy 85 (about 20 minutes from Almaden).

Hi A., My kids used to see Dr. Wolkstein on Blossom Hill Road. Both of my kids are adults now. My son still sees him however my daughter got too old and misses him. definitely try Dr. Phil or Dr. Greg Wolkstein. They are located on Blossom Hill Rd. Close to Oakridge. They are wonderful.
